The hotel location was excellent for access to restaurants (including the robot restaurant), shopping malls and subway system. The hotel lobby was welcoming and staff were friendly. The rooms were tight - we were in a double room where there was just enough for a small desk and bathroom. We were on the 11th floor and did not hear any of the street noise from the game stations and general traffic. If you are planning on staying in, the video on demand service is highly recommended, otherwise, BBC will be the only English channel.

Great location - about 5-10walk from Shinjuku train station - with good links to JR lines (we had a JR Rail pass). Our standard room was compact, but had everything that you need. The hotel has a Landry room with washing machines and a dryer which can we used for a small fee. Close to love hotel, koren area and robot restaurant. Buffet breakfast (included) was great - had lots of Japanese and Western options available.

Meguro is a residential district in southwest Tokyo. The Meguro River gives the district its name, and in May you can find families picnicking under the cherry trees that line its banks. September sees a festival celebrating the local delicacy, a fish called samna. Those with strong constitutions should check out the 8.8 meter tapeworm on display at the Meguro Parasitological Museum.
