This hotel was once a home on the hill. Don't expect an elevator, you won't find it here. What you will find is an authentic Puerto Vallarta experience. Polo is an incredible host! The rooms are simple and pleasant with firm beds. The common areas are great for preparing your own meals, with full kitchens and indoor or outdoor dining areas. The majestic view from the rooftop pool overlooks the downtown area and Puerto Vallarta bay. Although a little difficult to find, this hotel is worth the extra effort. Make sure you have international cell service to allow use of google maps. We will DEFINITELY be going back to Luna Liquida!

Great location. Staff was very nice. Everything was so close to proximity and walking distance that I only got on a taxi once. This is a great location for someone that really wants to explore the culture and wants to hangout with the locals. Food experience was amazing!!!

I was well taken care of, the first room was small. Guadalupe M. Ramirez/Hotel Manager move me to a better size.
Outdoor space was good. Be sure to bring your towel from the room to use pool. I forgot mines and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs.

Love this hotel! So authentic and beautiful. Very Mexican. On fact, we were only gringos there, which I loved. Restaurant was lovely and affordable ( awesome nachos and 2 for 1 margs), location is amazing- at the end of the malecon- and the pool is perfect. The furniture and architecture of our room were stunning. The bed was a bit hard but hey...
Honestly my only complaint was the kerfuffle and confusion around the "included" breakfast. They could simplify things- a voucher for continental and a voucher for full buffet. But they must have their reasons.
Can't wait to return!

Downtown’s cobblestone streets lead to historic landmarks, such as La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. A crown tops this church’s bell tower, a lasting reminder of the short-lived Mexican monarchy. By the water, Triton dons a sombrero atop a seahorse. Downtown is also known for art galleries, Museo Arqueológico, and Casa Kimberly, once a love nest for Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
