Hotel is amazing! While it is a bit far from town (15 minute shuttle) the view is unbelievable. They can direct you to a beach club if you want to do that. The staff and service was fantastic. We plan on going back next year.

The hotel personnel are very professional and friendly. The room was very clean but the A/C thermostat was in an odd place and would not regulate the temperature well. Food was decent but not great. Beach is nice but understaffed and the poor waiters has to service a large crowd.I think that the hotel was OK if you have a limited budget.

Lets be clear. I stayed at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort which is different than the Club. The Club is a time share section on the South side of the property. The hotel / resort was fantastic. Great staff, great room, great location. The pools are great, the beach in front was also very good. Sand has returned and though a bit coarse, it is easy to walk on. I snorkeled around the rocks in front of the resort and was able to take plenty of pictures of fish even though the visibility is not very good.

We had 8 hours to kill before our flight out of PV and the hotel we stayed at that week could not accommodate a late check out. The heat and humidity was pretty brutal for us temperate climate folks so we needed a place to stash our stuff and get out of the sun so we booked this hotel because the price was right and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was not fancy, but was it nice and clean, as were the halls and pool areas. The hotel had awesome views from the roof. Both pools are pretty small, but were also nice and clean. This place is right smack in the middle of the Romantic Zone and is close too all the cute restaurants and shops so it's a great location for a great price.

Pocket Guide: Puerto Vallarta Downtown Puerto Vallarta Hotels
Downtown’s cobblestone streets lead to historic landmarks, such as La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. A crown tops this church’s bell tower, a lasting reminder of the short-lived Mexican monarchy. By the water, Triton dons a sombrero atop a seahorse. Downtown is also known for art galleries, Museo Arqueológico, and Casa Kimberly, once a love nest for Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
