This hotel is in the heart of downtown Toronto and is across the street from Union Station with easy travel to Pearson Airport via the UP train( at Union Station). The staff is friendly and accommodating, and our room was immaculate. My one complaint about the room was the lack of storage space. There were only two small drawers available for clothing. one was really a tray above the mini-bar and the other was in the night stand.

We stayed three nights at the Chelsea in August. It is a large hotel and has times of day with large crowds checking in. Hectic, active. Great location. Very very frustrating wireless connection. One of our rooms was not ready until 9 PM at night. Staff at the café were extremely accommodating. Delicious buffet of salads etc.

Excellent location close to many restaurants, shopping and day excursions (Bateau mouche @ Vieux Port).
10min walk to many attractions in Old Montreal and just 15min taxi ride to the Casino/La Ronde and Piknic Electronik.
Hotel staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, accommodating and attentive to any additional needs (room upgrades / amenities).

This was my second time staying at the hotel, this time with a 1 year old baby. Summary: Thumbs up.
Pros: Good location, clean rooms with nice views, affordable and convenient parking, outstanding gym and pool, and a pleasant outdoor terrace for drying off, surprisingly good value this time of year. It also looks like they made an effor to separate the families from the bachelor party bros - great idea.
Cons: Pricey room service and restaurant (but you probably already expected that), annoying TV remote control (why is this always the case?).
