The front entrance was hard to find—no clear signage and just a handwritten note saying “under renovation.” At check-in, the man at the front desk only gave his initials, which felt shady. I had already paid through Expedia, but noticed a double charge—he scribbled it out on paper without a proper explanation. Thankfully, Expedia made it right and resolved the issue quickly.
Later that night, around 3 a.m., he called my room to ask if I had ordered an Uber, which I hadn’t. Then at 7 a.m., loud construction banging woke me up. To their credit, the hotel did move me to a quieter room facing a side street instead of the construction zone.
Unfortunately, when I called the front desk to express my frustration, the manager actually threatened to call the police on me, which was completely unprofessional and unnecessary.
The shower had hot water but only came out as a mist, and the coffee in the lobby was not good at all. That said, the Wi-Fi and TV worked well, the room was well heated, and the location is great for walking.
Despite the issues, the hotel is a good value for the price—just be prepared for some noise, confusion, and unpredictable service.
