From the little touches of the bathroom tv embedded in the mirror, to the motion sensitive lighting under the nightstand, everything was impeccable. Food was ok, but there are plenty of options around. The staff was one of the nicest I have ever experienced - no question was stupid :-) I can't wait to stay here again!!

This grand old lady is experiencing a redo. The rooms have been newly renovated and they are beautiful and spacious. The bed was amazing. Bathroom very spacious and the shower could easily hold a couple of people.
The staff are so very helpful and friendly. Andrew, the bellman, went above and beyond to familiarize me with the room and even remembered details about our visit when we left.
Housekeeping needs to pay more attention to re-stocking items in the room. We had three people and one coffee cup - the crankiest member got the cup!
When I informed the front desk, they were very apologetic and offered to go get the rest of the party cups of coffee.
The only downside is that the lobby is currently undergoing renovation so 99 per cent of it was behind big black curtains. Glimpses behind the curtain revealed a large airy space that I can't wait to come back and enjoy.
Overall, a lovely stay and I would definitely come back.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed on a sunday and the night manager gave us several restaurant suggestions within walking distance. Rooftop bar was cool with a GREAT view. Free parking was a definite plus.
No complaints really, other than the feel of the entire hotel was cold. Creepy hallways. Bare.

Location is in the middle of most tourist attractions. All within walking distance. Übers were cheap to take into Deep Ellum and arts district.

As a woman traveling alone for business I so appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the staff at the Joule. The hotel itself is gorgeous and all of the amenities were fabulous. I ate at two of the hotel restaurants -- CBD and Americano and both were outstanding. I highly recommend the Joule and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Pocket Guide: West End Historic District Downtown Dallas Hotels
Like everything in Texas, downtown Dallas is big. Fortunately, downtown’s zones make it easy to explore. The city’s art museum, symphony, and Dallas World Aquarium reside in the Arts District. West End’s Elm Street marks the spot where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. The Sixth Floor Museum chronicles this dark day. Deep Ellum, east of downtown, is Dallas’ main nightlife hub.
