We were very happy with this hotel - very friendly and service minded staff, really good food (the room service is fast and not too expensive), and good location in Downtown Dallas. We could easily walk around to various locations Downtown and Deep Ellum (about 25 min walk away). The room was clean, view was great, bed was comfortable. The only thing that was lacking a little was the shower (no water pressure at all, sorry!), but I'm not going to dock the rating for that. Thanks Fairmont!

My wife, 17 year old daughter and I stayed here this last weekend. Had a beautiful view of reunion tower and downtown Dallas. Was given a recommendation to eat at Pecan Lodge which was delicious.
The room was clean and the beds were decently comfortable for a hotel. The television was clear and the floor was pretty quiet with one exception.
On the morning after our first night there were some loud people in the room next to us. Arguing loud. Door open arguing loud. Door open arguing loud SMOKERS. Cigarettes will ruin a persons day if they have to smell it in their room. We were on our way out, notified management, came back and no more neighbors. Thanks management.
It's a hotel for younger crowd. No restaurant but food close by for sure.
So I give them a five. It was 75 bucks less a night than the Omni across the street so that's a plus but the Omni is a nice hotel as well.

This hotel is decorated beautifully, the lobby is nice, but I had issues. My beautiful suite was tight, I had to do acrobatics to get from the bedroom into the bathroom. The windows were frosted, so I couldn't see out; it made me feel very claustrophobic.

The newly renovated rooms put you in the lap of luxury in downtown Dallas. The pool area and fire pit are great relaxing outdoor spaces. The only area that stands to be improved are the options and hours for in room dining-- but I hear that is coming when the renovation to the restaurant and lounge is completed

Pocket Guide: West End Historic District Downtown Dallas Hotels
Like everything in Texas, downtown Dallas is big. Fortunately, downtown’s zones make it easy to explore. The city’s art museum, symphony, and Dallas World Aquarium reside in the Arts District. West End’s Elm Street marks the spot where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. The Sixth Floor Museum chronicles this dark day. Deep Ellum, east of downtown, is Dallas’ main nightlife hub.
