Excellent value for an all inclusive. Food was very good especially breakfast. There were lots of young people and sometimes the crowd was a little out of hand but for the most part was fine. The non smoking policy is not enforced but since you are outside mostly it’s tolerable. Beat part was the staff and no seaweed on the beach.

The resort was incredibly clean, and we were really impressed with the variety of food options available. The beach was spotless, completely free of sargassum, and the pools were lovely. The entertainment team was amazing, keeping us engaged and entertained throughout our trip. Every single staff member was friendly and courteous, making our experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend.

This was my 4th visit. It was my first visit since the renovation. I liked the updates to the rooms, but missed the giant pool. I found the rooms clean, but some of the common areas on the upper floors were not as clean as they should have been. Bartenders and wait staff were great, though some of the front desk staff and managers were not super helpful or friendly. The lack of free shuttle service from/to airport is disgraceful, especially as a loyal customer on my 4th trip booking multiple rooms. Apparently, if you book through Expedia, you are not entitled to the free shuttle - would have been good to know beforehand. Food was ok, neither terrible nor amazing - about what I expected at an all-inclusive. Lots of variety and OK quality - very bland. Overall, it was a great time - pool, pool bar, and sports bar were a lot of fun!

Do not offer room service. The lobby is an open concept with no air conditioner so while you’re waiting for your room to be ready, you either have to sit in the lobby and sweat to death and wait till the restaurant opens or just altogether wait in the lobby, my room was also messed up was supposed to have two double beds was given a king. The buffet was OK nothing to brag about the steakhouse is outside and extremely hot, but the steak was very good.

The rooms were beautifully updated and very comfortable. I enjoyed having coffee with a view of the ocean from the balcony. The breakfast and dinner buffet was awesome. The lunch options were mystery meat for sure but there are options to avoid that. The themed parties were a lot of fun, just wish there were more food options for later in the night. Also, don’t lose your room keys cause they charge for that. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would go back.

the parties like the pink and neon party’s where fun. my room had a horrible smell to it and nobody wanted to rectify it in a way that was satisfactory. i checked in on a thursday and immediately contacted the front desk about the horrible smell. like rotten eggs. they said they would send someone and never did. friday i called down again and they sent a cleaning lady to “refresh the room” she immediately turned her nose up when i let her in and proceeded just to spray liquid freshener of some sort in all the corners of the room. she said maybe it’s the air conditioner. something there made me smell rotting boiled eggs for four nights and 3 1/2 days . all they wanted to do was refresh it with spray. now it smells like sweet rotten boiled eggs! very annoying. room 426 should be checked for a dead rodent in the vents. the restaurant food was not good and the breakfast lunch and dinner buffets where plentiful with options but a lot of the same things every time. taco stuff and food you wouldn’t normally eat for breakfast like pork tenderloin, refried beans and shredded pork. the gym is tiny but has what you’d need. they do have a shop inside for drinks and things you may have forgotten for astronomical prices of course. staff is very friendly and helpful and drinks do what they should do but not top shelf of course. you do have to pay to play pool in the sports bar.. in an all inclusive resort.. but not the pool table... the pool table is not inclusive.

When my group arrived at Rio Caribe our group was told that there were no rooms available for us and that they were overbooked. They sent us 30 mins away to Rio Costa mujeres which was also a nice hotel but still disappointing since we originally book caribe and all of our excursions had to Change becuase of the pick up locations
