We had a terrible experience at this hotel!There was not AC at the main lobby,the floor was completely wet .The pool is very small for the hotel capacity,there is not enough umbrellas and seats at the pool .As soon as I got into the hotel,I went to the pool’s bar and I asked for a beer and they refused to serve me a beer because it wasn’t 11:00 am yet.I had to wait more than 30 minutes to get the waiter attention at the main bar in order to have some drinks.This hotel doesn’t match the description and pictures!I decided to cancel my stay at this property and I moved to a better hotel for our family vacation!Very rude staff and terrible customer service at this place!The property is old and dirty.The food at the buffet was below average!

The food was horrible everything was dry or flavorless. The Mexican restaurant was the worst which was disappointing when you’re in Mexico. The kids area is ok but there could be more supervision on the large slide and the floor all around the kids area gets so hot it burns your feet. The babies play ship gets so hot it’s painful and the slides on it go way too fast for a small child. The worst part was there was all common areas and restaurants were way too hot. It was cooler out at the pool and ocean. My family would sweat through every meal and feel sick from the hot stale air. We mentioned this to a waiter and they said yeah they’d fixed the ac on the lower flow but hadn’t yet in the restaurants. The rooms were nice and clean but the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable. The AC in the room is so loud you can’t sleep.

The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. Our room was cleaned and mini-fridge stocked every day before we returned from breakfast. The staff is wonderful and accomodating. The pool was well maintained, but with that many people in one pool, it's hard to keep pristine. The beach was great, but the seaweed this year is a problem everywhere so not a ding on the resort itself. We always felt cared for, safe, and comfortable. Entertainment options are adequate. Great for a lazy vacay.

Cafe, taco stand, and Italian restaurant has the best food! Breakfast at azul not good at all. Food in the resort is alright, sometimes too salty or overcooked. The juices were pretty refreshing and delicious. The hotel is a little outdated and the cleanliness is good. Didn’t provide the proper amount of bathroom amenities for a 4 person room. Wish the pools were bigger. Sauna and hot tub should be included like other normal hotels. Massage and spa is added cost and many others felt the pricing was overpriced. The view of the beach is beautiful but there were a large amount of seaweeds.

The food, rooms and service were great! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The main pool area was a little small and crowded. The main lobby bar was always really warm with minimum air flow throughout the area. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to people looking for a family friendly resort.

The food was great, the bed was always nice and comfortable, the WiFi was running pretty good and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was good. The workers are all very kind and attentive if you need anything. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants a peaceful family friendly environment but still has fun nights filled with live music!

Great beach but there were a lot of seaweeds that prevent you from enjoying it 100%. Hotel facility is old. The service was okay and you can feel there was different attitude amongst staff. Pool was small and overcrowded. Sauna and hot tub comes with extra charge which is unreasonable, but spa and massage understandable but they still overcharge. Food was overcooked and salty. Only good food was tacos stand next to pool, cafe, and the Italian restaurant. Please avoid Azul for dinner. The alcoholic beverage was okay and the juice was better. Aquaworld activities are also priced very expensive for per person. Unsure why room service missed the room when they are doing the room next to it.

The staff was incredible. Everyone was kind to guests and to each other. We felt very safe as there was always someone available to help with transportation, booking outings, etc. The food was very good. I wish there was a bit more music/entertainment.

A beautiful family friendly resort! Kind amd welcoming staff and very clean. Such a cherry on top that we saw sea turtles come onto the beach to lay their eggs.

Very disappointed in this Hyatt owned property. Don’t book airport shuttles through this hotel or even stay here — our 2nd shuttle never showed up even though they claimed it did and our first shuttle arrive 30 minutes early and rushed us to leave. We sat in the lobby the whole time waiting and then got accused by the MTS worker that it was my fault for booking 2 shuttles under my name and that their drivers got confused. We were promised by the hotel manager Esteban that we would get our taxi and shuttle reimbursed and after going back and forth with fake screenshots they edited - they claimed it was our fault. $200 - gone, because of their incompetence. Look up their reviews before booking. - we had a group of 15 and spent well over $12k at this hotel - my friends room light switch was faultyand actually popped a fuse and burned his hand. I was discriminated for wearing a floor to length dress - and yet another customer had only a see through dress and another one that was inappropriate to wear around kids. There’s no music at the pool area and absolutely zero energy during the night. No lifeguards at the big water slides and kids were getting hurt. The restaurants were always a 1.5-2 hour wait even if you went right when they opened. Beyond understaffed as well. We tipped well and made sure the staff was taken care of. I won’t stay at a Hyatt again - let alone this property. I suggest going to Riu - better drinks and entertainment.

They had a kids pool and then another pool. But still lots of kids in other pool to big of a resort to have one pool adults can swim in. Restaurants have little ac still feels hot. You have to wait along time if you’re a big party like atleast 2 hours. Overall came to lots of resorts and this I would not go back to.
