We stayed here for 3 nights in November and it was superb. The Hotel was beautiful and in a lovely part of the city although it's a fair walk to the city centre (30 minutes). There is a Metro station about 100yds away which made getting around Madrid easy. The underground system is clean, safe, cheap and very straightforward to use. We didn't eat at the Hotel but the menus looked amazing. The room was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable and the largest we ever stayed in.
The staff were also brilliant, in particular Antonio,Jorge and Alberto who were all extremely helpful and very professional.

If you need to do business in Center of Milan it's OK'ish!
King bed comfortable except the gap between mattresses they push together to make it a king.
Two sets of plugs not working in room, so you have to be a little creative to charge stuff.
Room a little dark.
Breakfast typical Italian style and absolutely fine.
Free wifi throughout and coffee in lobby (nice touch).
So would I stay here again....yes.....but if probably give another hotel a chance I could find at similar level/price.

"Very good hotel within walking distance of many of"
Modern, clean hotel with impressive reception area and well-appointed bedrooms. Location was very convenient for shopping, dining, sight-seeing etc and was situated in a quiet street. We did not book breakfast as some reviews had made some negative comments especially about the 'hot' food not being hot. We decided to try it on the first morning and were impressed with the variety of food on offer which included fruit (both tinned and fresh), pastries, cheeses etc but unfortunately the hot food was barely warm and as there was no microwave no opportunity to heat it up. My husband enjoys his eggs and bacon on holiday but was very disappointed and needless to say we went elsewhere for breakfast after that. However this was the only negative as everything else was very good and we would stay again.

One kilometer north of the city center, this quintessential Spanish neighborhood draws those who want stay in a tranquil atmosphere. Described as one of the prettiest barrios in Madrid, Chamberí's tree-lined streets lead to cafés, independent shops, art galleries, and parks. With easy access to metro stations and opportunities for golf, this community also includes the charming Sorolla Museum.
