Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable.
My only complaint is having to pay for breakfast on top of what was a fairly expensive room, and the front desk staff. Although very friendly and helpful, I was told something different by everyone I spoke to. It became quite confusing after a while.
On the whole this was by far the best hotel my daughter and I stayed in during our vacation.

Nice hotel, but shuttle service is very undependable and tardy. Drivers don't apologize for their tardiness, and hotel staff doesn't either. When you advertise that you are very close to the Metro stop (which is true) and tell your guest that you will pick them up in 10 minutes, arriving in 40 minutes without explanation is unacceptable. In addition, when you have scheduled departure times from hotel, you should not leave 15 minutes later than your scheduled departure time. Very disappointing!

The metro is close by to either Farragut West or Foggy Bottom stop (with a little walk). Very nice staff, rooms are well maintained. It is an older property with character and charm. If you are looking for stainless steel/glass/modern, this isn't your place. I like the design elements personally. Every room I have been in - have stayed five or six times now, has been comfortable. each evening, the shades are drawn, water is dropped off and a light is turned on for your return. I normally have business on my check out day and always get my bag checked/stored for the day with a smile.

We loved our stay at this small and clean Boutique Hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room updated even though small, large shower stall and very clean, which is my first priority. The staff was always very courteous and helpful. There are even free bikes available to tour the city. This is in an older residential neighborhood with unique architecture and apparently Ivanka Trump and the Obama's own houses down the street.

I was travelling on my own and had two days to spend in DC to see all the sights that I could. The hotel is ideal situated a few minutes walk from the Capitol and from there the national mall is right there. The hotel is great and the staff friendly & helpful. I arrived early and they let me check in ahead of time. I would definitely recommend it and I will be back again.

Lawmakers handle the nation’s business at the US Capitol, where Freedom peers across the land atop her perch on the rotunda. Many members of Congress live in the brick row houses near the Capitol complex. Across the street, the Supreme Court—the third branch of government—interprets the law. Nearby, the restored Union Station is a transit terminal and dining hotspot.
