Arrived at hotel at around 8:30 AM expecting to leave my bags, but amazingly they allowed me to check into my room at that early hour!! I was absolutely delighted as I didn't relish spending the day in my travel clothes. Refreshed, I set out to see the sights and found it an easy and pleasant walk to the waterfront area. Hotel is in a good location. Room service hit the spot that night - very prompt and tasty. Hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious, all the amenities. And near the bus stop from the airport.

"Extremely Close to Harbor & downtown; great hotel!"
The CityLife Auckland is somewhat more expensive than other hotels, but its location is ideal and convenient to the harbor, shopping, the SkyTower and inner city life. The room with a washer/dryer was extremely convenient for us, and the free packet of detergent was a lifesaver. The concierge was extremely attentive and brought our car quickly when asked and our luggage came to our room swiftly and safely.

Great experience other than being told room service would be 40 minutes so I took a bath, had to answer the door half naked 15 minutes later with a facemask on. By the time I finished my bath and got dressed my dinner was cold. Food was average at best and items mentioned on the dish in the menu missing. Check-out took longer than I would have expected.

We stayed for 2 nights as attending the tennis. Hotel was a good walk to the tennis, taxied home at night. nice walk to Queen Street, shops and food. Parking was tight, and you had to get in quick, as not enough for everyone staying. Very nice, modern room, very basic supplies. Will stay again.
