For $400 a night I expect running water, toilet paper & tea bags! We stayed two nights & while the location was perfect it was the basics that let our stay down. On our first morning there was no running water. Rather than front foot it we were told to use the gym bathroom. Fortunately it came on just as we were about to use the water from the kettle with a flannel.
There were no English breakfast tea bags.
Second morning we had no toilet paper & the discovery was a bit late if you know what I mean.
When I raised these things as feedback on checking out, as s gesture, our $4.50 kit kat from the minibar was waived.
So lovely hotel & awesome restaurants & spa. But the basics not being attended to let this five star hotel down.

Just stayed over one night after eating in their Bloody Mary's restaurant. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was large and modern with free wifi, tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar and satellite tv. Shower room was quite small with no cupboard space but had toiletries and tissues to use. Shower was good but, as seems inevitable these days with modern shower cubicles, some water managed to leak out onto bathroom floor. Bed was very comfortable. Free parking.

At first not knowing Queenstown, I thought this hotel would be a little far from downtown and away from everything. Their shuttle is every hour so it worked great. I think this might be the best hotel in Queenstown in terms of views. It has the best views of the remarkables! The rooms having the kitchen really worked well for us cooking breakfast. Overall a great place.

Our room had a great Lake view with a balcony just across from a park!
The buffet breakfast was fabulous with a beautiful view of the lake! We enjoyed a lovely time in the bar for drinks in the newly remodeled room. Johnathan was a friendly bartender, who made our visit "special"! Also,
the dinner buffet is amazing, and we got to meet all the specialized chefs!
Very convenient hotel with walking distance to tours, restaurants, harbour, shops, and downtown. Be sure to join the Rydes Reward Membership Club!
