The room was very neat and tidy, decent enough space, and was nice and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast next door on our way out. An all round great stay and wouldn't hesitate in coming back again in future

Honestly, we booked this room by mistake. It was further from Queenstown than we expected and the spa was closed the day we arrived. But it was the best mistake ever! Our suite was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed the jetted tub. But the absolute best thing about this room was the view--Beautiful river gorge and wild flowers. It was breath-taking. I could have stayed a week or more. The restaurant was also great. It was our first experience with Burmese food and was delicious. The hotel staff were wonderful. If I make it back to New Zealand, I'll definitely stay here again.

The reception and lounge area are very nice. I can see this as a ski resort type lodge in the winter with all the comfy chairs around the fireplace. I had reserved a room with a king size bed and we had a whole suite. It was super nice. Super fancy with a tub. Good water pressure. Blow dryer. Iron and ironing board. They stock the refrigerator so full with the mini bar stuff you can barely put anything else in there. We had one of their famous Lombardi pizza's the first night and it was very good, small and expensive of course but the room service was efficient and very friendly. They park your car. There is limited parking on Brunswick street but they really want to please you with their service. We were on the 7th floor. The elevator only goes to the 6th floor and then you have to go up some stairs. The concierge will bring your stuff to your room and pick it up when you leave if you want them too. Also, our room did not have any view. So you might want to request that if it's important to you. They have a guest laundry with three washers and dryers. The dryers are $1 for 10'minutes but they will give you change and explain everything at the front desk. You do have a hill to walk up if you walk into town which is 5 minutes but it's not bad unless you are physically challenged in some way.
