This hotel was marvellous for closeness to the viaduct, Vulcan Lane and The Chancellory.
People were very friendly with good security. My only negative is they need to make the bed properly but that does make me sound petty! Would definitely recommend this place.

We spent two nights at this hotel, which was formerly called The Rendezvous and underwent a name change (not sure about ownership) a few weeks ago. It was very comfortable with a large room and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also large and well laid out. The location was in the CBD, within walking distance of the harbour and a number of good restaurants. This hotel was recommended to us by friends, We would definitely stay here again.

The venue was under construction and massive amounts of it. The water got turned off to the hotel all day on our first day there. It's quite out of the way. You need transport to get from the hotel to Queenstown. They did provide a free shuttle but it was only specific times. The water taxi service was good tho. I had booked for my partners 40th for the luxury factor and really didn't get it. It states that they have a spa and pool online which is what attracted us to it. It doesn't. They give you access to the Hilton's luxuries but you must pay for them. The staff were friendly and helpful. They knew everything about Queenstown and how it worked. So was a lil disappointed overall but it was a pleasant enough stay.

Room and bathroom were small but spotlessly clean. A bit further from the city than I expected but still a short walk.
A lot of traffic noise during the day but it was ok at night.
All up excellent value for money.

This hotel is in a good location for it's proximity to the waterfront, which is lovely to walk along. Our room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a selection of pillows but none of the pillows were very comfortable, all of them seemed a little too overstuffed to be "just right". There was a frosted glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom. Not sure if the intention was to allow natural light to get into the bathroom, it seemed unnecessary.
Breakfast was included at the Portlander restaurant downstairs and was excellent. The buffet breakfast was laid out in small batches and was being refreshed regularly. The selection was very good and eggs including omelettes were prepared upon request.
Valet parking was $30.00 per day which seemed a liitle pricy, the valet was friendly and suggested taking a scenic coastal drive out to Seatoun which was a do not miss.
