"Great location and Friendly front desk"
Not a cheap hotel but worth the price. The location is perfect, in the center and close to everything. The room is good and clean. It has a functional, clean, small fitness room. The front desk staff very helpful. I did not have breakfast in the hotel, but it possible Ike's OK.

Park Hotel Amsterdam

Stadhouderskade 25, Amsterdam - Map
"Very good location and easy to get to."
We had just had a 3 night stay at Park Hotel. We quickly realised how close it was to everything and were able to walk everywhere! The furthest places were probably the Red light district & Anne Franks House and then took about 20-25 mins. The staff were super helpful and the room was great (so was the shower!) The boat tours opposite were great too- we went on a smaller boat. Also, the restaurants nearby were to a good standard. Generally, a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

"Stay at Bolster"
Brilliant location - bang in the centre. New hotel. Very clean. Comfortable rooms with clean toilets. We had the attic room on the 4th floor. Hotel located in pedestrian only zone. About 20 yards from road and Rembrandtplein. Most attractions within walking distance - approx. 0.5 to 1.25km! Good eateries nearby. Disadvantages: Parking, Narrow stairway (no lift) - extremely helpful staff who helped with our luggage though!

"Nifty efficiency"
Not for everyone, but I seriously loved this place. It is well-located--trendy, quiet, comfortable, well-equipped, seemed quite safe--a home away from home. You have to not mind climbing stairs to crawl into bed but the living area has a low, but comfortable small sofa, a kitchen table, a big-enough screen tv and a galley kitchen with a very efficient small refrigerator, that was able to crank out ice-cube trays in fairly short order (important to me since I like ice--but, you could also go upstairs and get ice too). There were many nice touches, and humor too.....even the hallway carpet was a gray cobble-stone print! There are community laundry facilities, your own clothesline in room, and cabinets to leave your luggage in if you arrive early or leave late which you can get to on your own. There was even an app to open your room. Friendly, helpful 'side-kicks' to help you settle in.

Hotel Iron Horse

Overtoom 33, Amsterdam - Map
"Nice Little Boutique Hotel"
Hotel Iron Horse is a nice little boutique hotel, right on the outskirts of "inner Amsterdam". Everything in the city is walkable and we had no trouble getting around everywhere with this as our home base, Some of the rooms are somewhat small and the lack of windows opening affects the temperature...but it's not a deal breaker. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They were able to accommodate our request for a room change for the second night on with no questions asked. Some very nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, including a great Indonesian one right across the street. But, one thing, be prepared to do the stairs - steep, narrow and plentiful.

Royal Amsterdam Hotel

Rembrandtplein 44, Amsterdam - Map
"Great Location"
Could not have been in a better location. Near enough to all sights but far enough from the madness of Dam Square. Hotel is right in Rembrandtplein which is a lovely square with plenty of bars and restaurants, good soundproofing though so minimal noise at night. Tram stop right in the square so everywhere easily accessible. Main downside was the size of the room, absolutely tiny, not much bigger than the bed, very little floor space. My husband and I spent the whole time squeezing past each other. I know it is the centre of a capital city but even so was very small for a 4 star. No fridge either. Towels also too small and not fluffy enough. Very clean though and staff were helpful, although I did not appreciate having the room inspected before we had our deposit back! Not very classy for this standard of hotel. Overall, nice and clean and great location but quite expensive.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Amsterdam City Centre hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
