"Great hotel in the centre of the action !"
We enjoyed our stay at the Pan Pacific hotel and the location was perfect to hire bikes for Stanley Park, pick up buses for city tours, visiting Gastown etc. We used the swimming pool a lot and this was located on the 8th floor with fabulous views of the mountains. Our only criticism of the hotel was the pricing of the food and drink which was expensive, also usually water provided in the room is complimentary, but the cost was 3 times the local supermarket. These are only small complaints and would recommend this hotel for travellers needing a central location.

"Nice hotel. Great location near transportation."
Our room had a mechanical access in the ceiling of the bathroom which was very noisy even with the door shut. Most staff was friendly and helpful, however the concierge kept trying to direct us only to hotel restaurants when we specifically asked for recommendations near the area "It's Saturday night so it'll be tough!" He didn't even mention the night market next door that we found out from people on the Sky Train station.

"Great hotel. Perfect location."
This was our second time to stay at this hotel and it proved to be as pleasant as before. Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable. Great access to shopping and transportation. The only problem this time was that many children were staying on the same floor as we were. There was running up and down the halls, loud talking, laughing, all of which discomforted our expected peaceful stay. Forgot to mention to the staff, but our coffee maker did not work either. Please do not let this hotel deteriorate. It is a potential gem. Thanks.

    Explore Vancouver

Gorgeous, successful, cultured and outdoorsy, Vancouver is clearly a catch. Its sparkling waterfront is strung with beaches while the snow-capped North Shore Mountains dominate the landscape, promising world-class skiing, hiking and mountain biking just 15 minutes away. Downtown Stanley Park offers 1000 acres of trails, beaches and kids’ attractions.

Historic Gastown, with its Edwardian buildings and cobbled streets, draws time travelers to its art studios and antique shops. Once industrial Yaletown is now loft-central, packed with upscale shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Find serenity in the midst of bustling Chinatown at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. Take the ferry to Granville Island, home to the Granville Public Market and its cornucopia of fresh fish, produce and food stands.

Yes, there are indoor attractions, like the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Museum of Anthropology and the Vancouver Aquarium. But Vancouver’s biggest thrills are found outdoors. Sway 230 feet above a lush canyon on the Capilano Suspension Bridge, or ride the Skyride up Grouse Mountain for a breathtaking view from 4,100 feet. Whee!
