"Close to mass transit"
We only had a short time in Vancouver. We wanted a hotel on the south side of Vancouver and close to mass transit. We were very impressed. The concierge was excellent. Unfortunately, we are not gamblers and did not spend much time in the casino, but we had a great time!

"No veiw but great location"
Was advertised as rooms with a harbor view. Both of our rooms had views of a outside sidewalk with people walking by. Was not worth the money we both paid. On the flip side if you got a room with a view it has a great location and the shops and choices for dining was awesome.

"One night stay before cruising"
This is a very nice hotel. Very comfortable. It is across the bay from the pier where the cruise ships are. It was very convenient to take the Sea Bus to the pier. We only had to walk about 3 blocks down to the Sea bus terminal the cost was less than $5 each. A cab would have cost a lot more. The spot where you get dropped is a little further but still very doable.

Great location. Nice room. Room window facing the street, not too loud. Room key card did not work well, would have to insert it multiple times to open door, only problem.

"hotel is great and location is superb.Busy lobby!"
So the room was great as promised (signature room with view), we did not get bottled water first night, there were no shower caps?? and when we asked for another shower gel they forgot to deliver it. Small things that might have been relevant to our room/floor only. Beds are great and another issue are electrical outlets. They are far from the work desk and from the bed sides, easy to fix if they have them in the base of the night lamps etc. I will give them another chance bc the breakfast staff are very nice.

"Good layover point"
Arrived from airport after taking the red eye from Winnipeg. The hotel is nestled in between the bridges to the airport is a bit dated, but the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean with fairly modern amenities (love the USB chargers built in to the head boards), and the hotel restaurant is a White Spot (a childhood favourite). We came in late and went to the pub for a pint before turning in and they went out of their way to hustle up some salsa and tortilla chips as we had not eaten in six hours. We'll done.

    Explore Vancouver

Gorgeous, successful, cultured and outdoorsy, Vancouver is clearly a catch. Its sparkling waterfront is strung with beaches while the snow-capped North Shore Mountains dominate the landscape, promising world-class skiing, hiking and mountain biking just 15 minutes away. Downtown Stanley Park offers 1000 acres of trails, beaches and kids’ attractions.

Historic Gastown, with its Edwardian buildings and cobbled streets, draws time travelers to its art studios and antique shops. Once industrial Yaletown is now loft-central, packed with upscale shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Find serenity in the midst of bustling Chinatown at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. Take the ferry to Granville Island, home to the Granville Public Market and its cornucopia of fresh fish, produce and food stands.

Yes, there are indoor attractions, like the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Museum of Anthropology and the Vancouver Aquarium. But Vancouver’s biggest thrills are found outdoors. Sway 230 feet above a lush canyon on the Capilano Suspension Bridge, or ride the Skyride up Grouse Mountain for a breathtaking view from 4,100 feet. Whee!
