Our room wasn’t ready when we got here. After a long day of travel it was frustrating. The hotel is very old and the elevators are very slow. The Origional Joes restaurant right off the lobby was very convenient and had excellent food. Good location for a concert. Ok for 1 night stay.

Very low key but efficient and welcoming Rooms were large and bright . The entire property was clean. The chain restaurant off the lobby was below par.

We were upgraded to the 18th floor and had a wonderful balcony and large windows. There was a wonderful bed, great pillows, plenty of coffee to make, and a great location. Exceeded all expectations.

The room cleanliness was poor. Ketchup on the couch cushion (not ours) and bathroom smelled like urine when we got there. Staff did not seem to care more worried about why we didn’t report it sooner. Charged for luggage storage on check out even though we tried to leave early so they could clean the room.

The front desk was so brusque and unkind at check-in that the stay was soured. We waited right in the lobby, steps away from the desk for 40 min and they never let us know when our room was ready which they had promised to do.

The location was terrific - so many walkable options to beach, restaurants, shopping. We had a corner garden view which was lovely, too. We thought there was a fitness room (listed) but that was miserable looking with very old equipment (no weights, mats, privacy even) in an odd central location. So we had to improvise. Staff were wonderful and friendly and helpful. Would return - despite lack of fitness center or pool!

Good location for a quick stay

Room was clean, staff was friendly. I wish they had a cruise terminal shuttle since they are close. It's a nice part of town to walk around and the bakery next door was great!
