My family and I had a great stay at Hankyu International. Where to begin?
]1) Great location: It's close to stores and restaurants. We had visitors from the Osaka area, but they loved the hotel as it's conveniently located near the city center. It's close to both JR Osaka and Hankyu Umeda stations. There are convenience stores are around.
2) Beautiful Hotel: Exceeded my expectations. Lobby is a little small, but our room was spacious. Loved the wonderful & spacious bathroom. The view from the room was good.
3) We had breakfast at a hotel restaurants during our stay. It was a nice breakfast. Not the best breakfast, but the view from the restaurant, the service, and atmosphere were all great.
It's a bit disappointing the nearby Starbucks was under construction.
But this is my favorite hotel in Osaka. Will return!

I enjoyed my stay at Rihga Royal. It's a good old hotel. You notice its international atmosphere the moment you walk into the lobby.
Although the hotel has free shuttle service between the hotel and Osaka station, the location is not so good. It's far away from the city center. There's not so much around the hotel, besides a convenience store.
Of course, the hotel has many restaurants, very expensive though: traditional Japanese food, sushi, french, etc. The bakery on the lobby floor is pretty good as well.
I dined at a restaurant on the first floor. It was expensive as well, but reasonable compared to the other restaurants. The food was good, and the atmosphere was great contrary to my expectations.
The room was clean, but bit dated. The service was good. They put in extra bed for my child.

First time to Osaka and we were recommended many hotels especially name branded hotels. After much review, I decided to book this hotel. All I can say is no regrets!
It's within walking distance to Osaka station, and even closer to subway systems. If your like me and can get lazy with navigating the subway or walking the Short taxi cab rides to all the tourist destination is perfect. Hotel does provide a shuttle to and from Osaka station as well.
As for the rooms. We had a nice view of the river, the beds were comfortable and for a twin size bed they were pretty big!
Would stay here again.

Pleasant stay at a prime location, walkable distance from metro station. Service level is good, reception was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable size (though small) and we had a good night sleep there.

The hotel was pleasant but unspectacular from a service and amenity point of view. The television system was not set up for anyone but Japanese speaking people. The room was clean but had scuff marks on the walls and the carpet was in definite need of replacement. The best part of this hotel was the ability to reach Osaka station underground. There were days when it was too hot or rainy to go outside and we were able to walk underground comfortably.

Located in the city’s north side, this is Osaka’s center for contemporary shopping. In addition to numerous shopping malls, this is the home of the Umeda Sky Building. Designed to reflect the image of the sky, the building’s two 173 meter towers are joined by exterior escalators and a rooftop floating garden. The Blue Note Osaka, one of the city’s premier jazz clubs, is also found in Umeda.
