"Modern clean design. Smaller scale. Good value"
The hotel is quite beatiful. And the furniture modern and well appointed. The lobby smells fantastic. Woody and mysterious. The hotel has few amenities. No pool or spa or fitness. The lounge on the top floor gave you access to some free water and canned coffee. The view from the lounge was great. The rooms are tiny. But well done. Sliding panel over tv. Screens to divide sink from bed area. Rooms with no view actually have frosted film on the windows! No view means no view!

"Fantastic ryokan experience with hot springs."
I absolutely loved my experience at Taketoritei Maruyama as a solo female traveller. I made sure to booked my stay with half board and was given an 11-course kaiseki meal for dinner with a western breakfast. I enjoying tasting new foods which were presented to perfection. Please note to book your stay with food, as previous reviewers experienced problems getting dinner and breakfast when they booked without. Staff were super welcoming and helpful, they picked me up and dropped me off at the train station for free and helped with my heavy luggage to my room. I was treated as an honoured guest and made to feel at home. The lady at the counter was overjoyed when I gave her sakura senbei as a gift when checking out as the Japanese don't tip. I booked the private onsen and tried the golden and silver water which relieved my sore muscles and feet after spending 3 days in Tokyo, and 4 in Kyoto and Nara. I have a foot tattoo and disclosed this to the member of staff who told me the rules of the traditional hotel and gave me my yukata, I was not allowed to use the public onsen (which was fine as I already knew that the Japanese associate tattoos with the yakuza!). I totally embraced the experience of Japanese bathing culture and my stay at the ryokan was definitely a highlight of my trip to Japan! ps. apologies for the lack of photos my file size was too large.

"Best staff in Japan!"
Staff welcomes you like no other 0kace! They are warm and friendly, super helpful and always ready to serve. It is my most favorite place because of the staff. Starbucks is next door, convenience store across street and it's either a 15 minute walk or 700 yen ride to Osaka station and a 1000 ride to shin Osaka. Rooms are lovely offering 2 pillow types. Beds are firm but I never woke up sore. It's my Osaka hotel!

"駅前すぐの素晴らしいホテル"
スタッフの対応も設備も問題ありません。ドライヤー、歯ブラシ、コーム、髭剃り、などすべて揃っていました。二階に大浴場がり、宿泊者は無料で入浴できました。29階に泊まったのですが、素晴らしい眺めでした。ただ、部屋とベッドのサイズが2人で泊まるには少し小さかったことが気になりました。

"Nice Hotel - if you can find it!"
Nice hotel, usual high Marriott standards, modern, clean and well maintained, standard room size and layout - all good. Recommended. Expensive bar (Q: when are hotels going to realize they could attract much more bar/food business by have better pricing? You always feel ripped-off). If you arrive - as we did - by train to the very station where the hotel is located I wish the best of luck in actually finding the hotel. There are no signs, no directions and very few local people - including store vendors - knew where the hotel entrance was. Very frustrating.

Sanda is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Sanda, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Sanda hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
