The best thing about this hotel is the location. The hotel is located right above the station/mall which makes it the most convenient place to stay. The staff is very helpful and the room is very nice with a stunning view at night.

RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka

5-3-68 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka - Map
The room was large, clean and comfortable, and had good bathroom facilities. The concierge was very helpful, and the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Osaka station, which is good because getting to the hotel otherwise takes both rail and about 10 minute walk. It is located directly over a subway station leading to Osaka Castle. The only negative is that it took a bit of effort to get far enough away to find restaurants that aren't "fine dining".

"Convenient to Namba shopping and transport"
Convenient to Namba shopping and transport. Direct train service from kansai airport (KIX) and direct bus service from Itami airport (ITM). It's in the middle of Namba district, with pedestrian mall shops. Plenty of restaurants on the lower floors. Looks like it might be noisy at night, but in fact it's very quiet. Great staff -- very helpful!

"So nice we booked another night!"
Conveniently located a few blocks walk from Nippombashi station and Dotonburi. Walk a bit farther to Namba station and the shopping streets there. Inside the bedroom area with the extra door closed it was very quiet. We stayed in a Japanese Western style room. Adults had a Western beds, kids had futons. Everyone had robes to wear when walking down to the spa. Rather than curtains, there was a door that pushed across the rice paper window covering (it could also be pulled back to see outside). This was better than blackout curtains. Fantastic for sleeping in or convincing the children it was still night and they needed to go back to sleep early in the morning. The staff at the hotel are superb and helped us with all requests from extra towels, taxi to the airport, extra amenity kit for the baby, directions, train time tables, restaurant recommendations, etc. Check in starts at 3pm. We arrived at 1pm and asked if we could drop the bags and come back later and they looked to see if they had a room already available and let us check in early and get settled in the room. Onsen was fabulous to relax in. In the mornings it had citrus fruit floating in it, wooden blocks at night. They gave a sheet detailing the dos and don'ts of Onsen usage at checkin. The ladies Onsen has a code that needs to be keyed in to access. Kids amenities included slippers they could bring home, a bear washcloth and a robe set to wear around the hotel (smallest size 120).

Osaka is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Osaka, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Osaka hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
