"Conveniently located for the explorer."
This is the time I have stayed at this hotel. I was nervous about finding it, but as I pulled into Kyobashi station on the JR loop line (clockwise from Osaka), there it was, standing proudly on the right, nicely labelled. Upon exiting the JR station, turn left, cross the square, and the Keihan hotel sits above a shopping mall. Go in through to sets of double glass doors and take the lift to reception on the 7th floor. Check-in was quick and I was given a room key, yes a real key, with a plastic fob. You just have to tap the fob on the lift control in either of the 2 of 4 lifts that go upwards to the guest rooms and select your floor. I handed the key and fob back to reception before going out, they're a bit cumbersome. The rooms are about standard size for Japan, i.e. compact and bijou. There's a fridge, nice kettle, drinks, air-con, NASA loo, shower and bath. They also supply night-gowns rather than pajamas. Never worn one before! There are drink vending machines on each floor, and a nice coffee/lunch/breakfast room next to reception. I also asked to use the guest laundry facilities. There are 3 sets of washers and dryers, slightly hidden, but reception will help and supply washing powder. Free to use as well, very generous. The room was warm and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay very much, there were no issues. Good value for money.

"Excellent"
Close to Namba station and Dotonbori! Rooms were comfy, pillow menu was interesting, and the staff was excellent. Place looks nice too. Was recommended by my aunt who frequents Japan and couldn't have been more pleased. We will be back!

"Adequate for what we wanted ."
Rooms are small , but for us it was okay . Just a room to keep, our luggage and sleep overnight. Very close to subway line Tanimachi line exit # 8 . Advertised western style breakfast , every thing was cold . They do not have heated trays to keep food warm . Service was great and tables were kept empty and clean . The spa was a nice way to end the evening . On weekend nights spa got crowded . Men`s and ladies kept separate . This spa was open to the general public not just for guests . Osaka castle is only a long block away and via the subways close to all shopping areas . Travel from Kansai airport is about 45 minutes by train JR . If you have lots of luggage as we did this can be a problem . Taxi`s are small and costly .

"Nice location, near the train station and minimart"
First time that we going into the room, the smell is not good because it had smoking like smell. So, I think that someone had been smoked in the non-smoking room. The hotel has to control this problem and check the room every days strictly. Clean service might be necessary for checking the room.

"Lovely hotel in a great location"
This is a great hotel in a good location for a reasonable price. The staff were friendly (but didn't speak much English) and let us check in early. We were in a twin room. The room and bathroom were clean (lovely soaps!) and had a toilet with all the buttons!! Beds were quite hard but still comfortable. The hotel is very quiet...didn't hear another guest at all!! We didn't eat at the hotel so I don't know what the food is like. The hotel is a 2 min walk from the tube station and the Castle is within walking distance. All in all, a great place and I would definitely stay here again.

"Nice stay"
The staff was great and the room was comfortable, but the Wi-Fi signal sucked and the coin laundry was located in the dressing room go the public bath which is pretty awkward. Also the dryers were weak and took forever. Overall though it was pretty good.

Osaka is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Osaka, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Osaka hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
