Hotel is the best location for families. There was an outdoor park down the street. There is a grocery store, Daiso, Mcds, bakery, Starbucks, Family Mart, etc…. All less than a minute walk and you can get to without leaving the building. The hotel is quiet, safe, clean, and the staff were always helpful. We got there before check in and were hungry, so the staff explained where we could go to buy food and showed us a beautiful garden to relax in the building next door. Dontonburi was just less than a 10 minute walk away.

Excellent location next to the OCAT building and Namba station. Direct access to the underground shopping malls. Staff Was very polite and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast buffet was excellent as well. wide selection of food and large quantities. It ran from 6:30 to 9:00 but got busy at times.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka. The location couldn’t be more convenient.It is directly connected to JR Namba Station.It made moving between train lines, shops and restaurants completely weatherproof and hassle-free. The area is full of dining options, from quick bites in Namba Walk to a wide variety of restaurants nearby. You’re just minutes from Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi and Kuromon Market, so there’s always something exciting to see or eat. Our room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful city view. The hotel feels peaceful and slightly removed from the hustle, even though it’s in the heart of it all. Staff were helpful and polite and check-in was smooth. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-connected and food-friendly stay in Osaka!

I must say, the location of the hotel is just perfect! It's close to everything—Kintetsu Osaka-Namba station, JR Namba, Dotonbori, and OCAT (the station for the airport limousine). All these are within walking distance. Plus, there’s a large supermarket, “Life,” located in the basement, which was super convenient. The hotel made it easy to explore not only Osaka but also nearby cities like Kyoto and Nara. I even came directly from Nagoya. The city view from my room on the 29th floor was amazing! It was great to open the window for ventilation. The room itself was rather small, which is typical in Japan, but I managed to fit my 28-inch suitcase in the corner without issue. The bedding was comfortable, and the washroom was clean with the bath tub. However, the room was a bit on the dark side, and the layout felt somewhat old-fashioned. There were also limited outlets for charging, which was a minor issue. All in all, I would definitely consider this hotel for future trips to Osaka.
