The hotel is convenient for the railway station (although it would be useful to have walking directions published on the website!). A very comfortable and welcoming hotel; we were a little early for check-in and were immediately directed to the tea/coffee and cake available in the lounge (this is provided each day). Our room was well-furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities and a lovely bathroom. We needed a couple of extra pillows and the housekeeping staff provided these within minutes. The hotel receptionists were all very helpful and made suggestions to help us with the visits we wanted to make. There are plenty of places to eat in the 'Nachmarket', where good value meals are plentiful. We enjoyed a visit to the Spanish Riding School and would have liked to look around the Opera House. Save your Euros and don't bother with any sort of river trip, as the boats are uncomfortable and there is nothing to see but graffiti on the banks of the Danube canal. Vienna is a very walkable city and we very much enjoyed our stay.

On checking in, found shower drain blocked and room unbearably hot. It was late so hotel staff could not sort out until next day. Pleasant hotel staff changed room. Service was good. Suggestion to hotel to maintain air conditioning and invest in cheap table fans esp in the Summer.
