The hotel operates an easy self check in & you don't have to check out so you save a bit of time on both. The hotel & rooms were a modern style yet very comfy! The shower was lovely with both an over head shower & a wall hand held shower, which was spotlessly clean. As was the sink - room - hotel. Towels, shampoo, soap etc was all provided too. There's a great bar in the hotel! I didn't try any of the other guest rooms (cinema etc) but I saw they were in use.
The only thing to note is that it's not in the centre of the city for tourist venues. It is located in a shopping district but seems to be where the people of Vienna go to shop. However it's 5 minutes walk from 2 underground stops which will take you to the city centre. The closest underground is directly linked via U2 (orange) line to the station where the "City Airport Express" arrived & departs from.

This was the best hotel I have stayed at. The breakfast was awesome with hot and cold samples such as eggs and croissants from a great bakery. The staff, especially Antonela was very nice and Nadine was very helpful. The room was larger but the pillows were soft and lacking. Great spa. I loved this hotel. I walked everywhere from here and I'm middle aged.

Very nice hotel with nice staff. Both bathroom and bedroom were great.
The place is locked down after 7 PM, so you know your stuff is secure. The staff let us leave our bags there too, the day we checked out, for the day so we could explore which was great.
I highly recommended this place.

This was a real Jekyll and Hyde hotel. The extremely good side was the location and the breakfast (mostly...)
However, we had booked an "apartment," which we assumed meant cooking facilities. We had a microwave, but we also had 2 unusable burners on a "stove." More importantly, there were no pots or pans. When we asked reception about this, we were told, "We don't have them...yet." So the apartment does not really offer cooking.
The Hotel claims to have free WIFI. True, but the WIFI is only available in one public room upstairs near the breakfast room. There is no WIFI in the rooms.
The corridor to our room was fairly long. When we first walked down it, we couldn't believe it. The corridor was so stuffy it seemed to have no air. It also had a terrible smell. When we got to the room, we thought about going to reception and asking for a new location. The room had windows and was OK, so we just stayed there. The smell and no air in the corridor remained for the entire 8 nights we had booked for.
The breakfast was varied and very good: a great plus. However, the plates and cups were not quite clean enough. In fact, we learned to check all the dishes for leftover residue, and had to change cups and spoons frequently.
Finally, the TV in our room showed a black and white extremely fuzzy picture when we turned it on. We don't watch TV so it didn't matter to us, but...
All of these problems could be solved easily with more thought and care. It has a youth hostel feel, but nice.

Just southwest of Vienna's historical center, the Mariahilf district is home to the festive, sprawling Naschmarkt, an open-air market selling fresh produce from around the world, exotic spices, cheese, baked goods, meats, and seafood. Al fresco dining ads to the fun. Mariahilfer Strasse, the city's main shopping street, forms the district's northern border.
