"Overnight in Rome"
I'm a fan of Ibis - simple rooms very well maintained and clean - and this hotel is similar. Super location near and within sight of Termini without having to walk down any questionable streets. Only issue was that beds were very firm.

"Super close to the train station "
The hotel is very easy to find, right across the street from the train station. It was quiet and well taken care of. It's an older hotel so it lacks some of the nicer amenities like efficient elevators but they did the job getting you up and down as long as there were only 4 of you and you had no luggage! The only drawback that I really felt the hotel had was it seems to cater to tour groups and since it has a very small lobby certain times of the day were extremely crowded and the elevators were impossible at that time! We were on the 6th floor which made trumping up and down the steps a painful experience. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but I think we'll look elsewhere next time. Our room looked out into the courtyard with all the mechanical "stuff" and plumbing... Not a pretty sight! It was well kept and extremely clean though. I hate the twin beds shoved together that is typical of lots of hotels but they tended to slide apart pretty regularly on the beautiful parquet floors. We finally just shoved it up against the wall and that helped a bit. The breakfast was nicely done with breads, cheeses, meats and some eggs in various forms, but get there early..."tour groups"... Overall it was not a bad experience just a few things that needed tweaking.

"Good price for a hotel "
We stayed in a triple room with our daughter. It had a double bed and a twin bed with little space to walk around. Room and bathroom were in good condition. We had hot water and clean towel service.

"Tours they suggested"
The tours they suggested were not good. Lunch provided was not good, and the bus stopped to try to other venders goods. The hotel itself was very nice, but the air conditioning did not work well. Overall, we would go there again, but would be wiser on tours.

"Great launching area for exploring Italy. "
Hotel is on par with Best Westerns in the states. Bed wasn't terrible comfortable but after walking all day you will sleep well regardless. Staff is awesome, always happy - always helpful. Check-in and Check-out was extremely easy and hassle free. Italian TV is not something you can watch and enjoy. Be sure to bring an HDMI cable/connection for your phone or tablet so that you can stream Netflix or another service.

"Quirky, beautiful and peaceful. Tons of space!"
We traveled with teenagers and were so grateful to find a room with lots of space. The windows in our 4 bed room were breathtaking. The staff was very accommodating and breakfast on the rooftop was lovely. The location is just steps from the St. John Lateran Archbasilica-a must see! But check to make sure the church will be open when you want to attend. They closed the entire church right after Sunday mass the day we visited. We loved the themed setting of Domus Sessoriana. Yes, it is quirky and yes we struggled with hot water, but embracing the whole experience and setting, it was wonderful. Stay here if you want history, setting, LOTS of space, magnificent pictures, breakfast included, and a peaceful vacation.

Esquilino is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Esquilino, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Esquilino hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
