The wake- up knock on the door and free shuttle made this a good choice for my layover. Room was clean and the lounge made a nice pizza. My room was above the dining room so seemed a bit noisy but only until anout 10:30.

Hotel located in good proximity to metro and buses to see the sights of Barcelona. A 10 minute walk to the metro, which was quite tiring after a long day sightseeing, but the Hotel itself was quiet and ideally placed. Staff were helpful and room large and airy. Bus straight from the airport and dropped off bottom of the road. Good place to base yourselves to see Barcelona and not too far from Camp Nou, which was an added bonus!

Stayed twice on our way through Barcelona. The hotel was very pleasing. We were upgraded to a room with a private balcony & the hotel kept our luggage for a week while we cycled around the county. We will stay at Grums again if we ever get back to Barcelona.

Every thing was great except the night before the internet stopped working completely and we weren't able to sort airport inquiries. In addition to the internet not working the night prior to us leaving, we wished for a better selection of English TV channels and translation options. Thank you.

Perfect middle ground between work and tourism. About a 15 minute walk from the expo center in one direction and 10-15 minute walk in the other direction to La Rambla & Gothic Quarter.
First impression was kind of weird, I was told to go to the end of the hall, around the corner and through the parking lot to get to "hotel 2". Once there it was quite nice.
The only thing was the sewer smell that came up once in a while for about 10 minutes at a time. I think that's most of Europe though... Good place overall!

The verdant hill of Montjuic has long been a place of recreation and achieved worldwide fame during the 1992 Olympics. Experience its breathtaking views by taking the cable car from the port and then a smaller cable car to the castle at the very top. The area is chock-a-block with historic and cultural treasures; don’t miss the Museu National de Arte de Catalunya (MNAC) or the Fundació Miró.
