The name says it all. It is truly a Grand Experience! Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. There are many ways to save on travel, but if you find yourself in Stockholm, then make sure you do not try and cut cost by not staying at the Grand. You will regret it. Staff was incredible!

On arrival, I was allowed to check in before 12pm because a room was available. This was unexpected and when I got to my room, I was not disappointed. I had a room facing the back and although it was on the smaller side, it was perfect for my needs - just a bed to sleep in and a clean bathroom. Each day, my room was cleaned and the bottle of sparkling water each day was a nice touch! Especially during the summer. As a single female traveling on my own, I felt safe in this hotel and the location added to this feeling of safety.
The breakfast buffet was amazing - everything you can imagine and more. Well worth the room price in my opinion. A good breakfast meant that I could eat a good breakfast early and then head out to explore.
The location is good if you want to do the typical tourist sites - I stayed for four days and walked everywhere. including Gamla Stan, Ostermalm, Kungsholmen, Vasastan, Djurdgarden, etc. Everywhere is within walking distance from the hotel so you can save on transport costs and see more on foot.

Spent four nights at this hotel in early August. Rooms are modern, clean, very comfortable, if a bit small. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had. We have stayed here two times, and would not hesitate to come again.

The hotel in central to just about everything: no need to take mass transit at all. Just steps away are wonderful cafes and all the sights. The rooms are beautifully Swedish in style, clean and comfortable. I was in a single room, albeit small it was perfect! Breakfast was a great traditional smorgasbord and the staff could not be more accommodating in taking coffee orders.
It was wonderful coming back to the hotel each evening as you can leave all the noise behind you...

We (family of 4) spent 4 nights here before taking a very early train to Copenhagen. The hotel is new and well equipped. Our room was a corner room on 7th floor and had great views across the city. Breakfast was excellent. We didn't eat in the hotel other than breakfast, but did have drinks in the foyer bar and the rooftop bar. Both are excellent. The staff are great. One email was enough to ensure we had two rooms next to each other. When explaining we had a 06:20 train to catch the next morning the reception staff immediately said they would make up a breakfast pack for us to take on the train. Great service.

This is Stockholm’s city center, making it one of the most convenient places to stay. It’s home to the Central Station, Stockholm’s most famous park, Kungsträdgården, and Sergels Torg (think Times Square or Piccadilly Circus). The Royal Opera House and Hötorget symphony hall are also here. Shoppers flock to NK, Sweden's answer to Harrod's.
