"Comfy, Friendly but Minimalist"
Castle House Inn is a good place to stay for a short while, mostly I would say a backpackers hotel or for younger people. It is in the Old Town which is very nice. The cafe the hotel recommends to use for breakfast is expensive. Go to Under the Chestnut Tree cafe just up the hill to have a cheap but plentiful breakfast. The rooms were small and minimalist, there are separate wet rooms all along the corridor with shower/toilet/washbasin.

Good hotel apartments that are easily accessible from the central station which makes it a great starting point to look around the city. Don't expect to be able to do any proper cooking as the equipment provided is quite sparse and very basic. Breakfast for us was included, but it was really good and different each say which was nice. Overall the experience here was excellent.

"Good value for money near Stockholm"
I used one of the most basic rooms: "Quicksleep". This is of course Spartan but good value for money. Breakfast is fine. I recommend that travelers should have a public transportation pass to use the commuter trains very close to the hotel.

"Nice apartment away from home"
nice furnished apartment style room for the night. no real staff you see except one person at check in we didn't use because they had an automated check in kiosk. We would stay there again. only problem is it is a little ways from downtown and we enjoyed other hotels better based on location

"mysterious hotel"
The hotel is clean and stylish , my only consern is that there was never any staff ready to help . The receptionist was always hidden somewhere and you have to dial and call her when you arrive ... I thought receptionists are meant to " meet guests with a smile and great them ???"... Breakfast was really bad . And also , the reception area is a very noisy and overcrowded environment at night as it is used as a bar...

"Beautiful place to stay overlooking the water."
We had a fabulous 2 night stay. Very comfortable but classy hotel. We asked to change rooms as the first one had a teeny window and i like a bit more air. The staff were happy to be of help. Nothing was too much trouble for them. very informative regarding transport times etc. Ferry stops right outside to take you into the city. On site spa was fabulous, but the pool was a bit too chilly for me.

"Lovely hotel"
Modern, very clean and centrally located. The rooms are very small, but that is what you would expect in Scandinavia. It would have been great for space to leave our suitcases open, but we were more happy to have a very clean room in a very expensive city

Just across from the Arlanda Express Train Station! Lots of stores/food places around the hotel and can be walking distance to the sights of Stockholm. A hop on hop off bus stops in front of the Hotel! Comfortable single room - minimalistic but artistically decorated. Free good breakfast and wi-fi really works great!

"Great location, fab room"
We booked a King Room and it was very spacious, great shower room, funky decor and very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel is in walking distance of everything you want to see in Stockholm. Only downside for us was the bar as the cocktails we had weren't great, having said that there are plenty of other great places to drink in the city!

Stockholm is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Stockholm, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Stockholm hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
