"Very good hotel, ultra friendly and helpful staff"
We stayed here during the soccer final. Great hotel and the staff is really helpful. The hotelbar is great, open till 1.00 AM. Breakfast-buffet has much to choose from.
Stockholm is a perfect town to visit with kids, lots of stuff to do.

"Trendy/Expensive Hotel Across From Train Station"
The hotel was beautiful, really well designed and fun to explore. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a really good experience. However, the internal cabin rooms, while well designed and nice enough, are very small and seem overpriced for what you get. I'd probably look at a cheaper hotel in a trendier neighborhood next time I'm in Stockholm.

The hotel is in a convenient position on a main shopping road leading down to Gamla Stan which is the busy medieval part of the city with the Palace etc. Hotel was near lots of good restaurants. Room was quite spacious. Lacked a kettle and coffee making facilities. There was free coffee in reception which you could make yourself. Breakfast was adequate. Spacious bathroom but needed a shelf on the wall to put your wash bag on. Would recommend it as a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient position.

The Royal Palace, a Buckingham Palace look-alike, is in Stockholm's Old Town. While the royal family chooses to live in Drottingholm, about a half-hour away, there are tours available, as well as the changing of the guard. The area's major thoroughfare, Västerlånggatan, is a pedestrian area filled with shops and restaurants.
