Beautiful hotel located close to shopping, restaurants, metro and buses. The stop and go bus even has two stops within steps of the hotel. Varied and delicious breakfast each morning was included. Carpet had some spots on it. Room beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home, even robe and slippers. The heated towel rack is a plus.

I wanted an inexpensive hotel in a good neighborhood with easy transit connections, and hoped I would find a nice, boutique, unique place. I did at the Drottning Kristina. I had one of the basement rooms with no windows for 4 nights. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom large with a great shower with rain head that surged with wonderful warm water, the breakfast is outstanding with herring and salmon and good coffee, the staff were all very kind and helpful, my only complaint is that the hotel lobby was undergoing renovations and so when I arrived, I found an unexpected constructions zone. For $86 per night ($70 prepaid) it was not only a bargain, but a delight to come home to after each day of touring. Thank you to everyone there.

Clean hotel with big bedrooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke near perfect English.
The hotel is within walking distance of all the central sites. Our maximum walk was 25 minutes to he ABBA Museum.
For outlying sites the hotel is about two minutes from the metro. We bought a day pass and visited Drottningholm Palace, the Globe and the Ice Bar in one day.
My one gripe - the mattress was far too soft for my taste.

The Esplanade experience is like stepping back in time to a gracious period of charm , elegance and good service .It is well located and has a great breakfast and resident living room with magnificent views of the harbour.Staff are particularly helpful and in my case even posted four shirts left behind to me in Australia. How is that for service!

Hotel is in a really nice part of town of a main boulevard and across the street from a large park. It's about at 15-20 minute walk to the old part of Stockholm or you can hop on the metro.
Staff was excellent.
Room was clean but did show signs of aging. Some paint was starting to chip. Room was clean and fairly quiet.
Breakfast buffet was typical European with a wide variety of choices.

We booked a King Room and it was very spacious, great shower room, funky decor and very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel is in walking distance of everything you want to see in Stockholm. Only downside for us was the bar as the cocktails we had weren't great, having said that there are plenty of other great places to drink in the city!

Stockholm’s poshest neighborhood was once home of the Royal family’s horse stables and armies. It’s located in the area north of Dramaten, the off-white and gold theatre where Ingmar Bergmann got his start. Shops like Svensk Tenn offer classic Swedish design while Östermalms Saluhall provides an indoor gourmet food market.
