The hotel is located in an outstanding, upscale area of Stockholm and is walking distance to major attractions. Lovely upscale neighborhood! The hotel staff were wonderful, warm and always willing to help. Comfortable, chic hotel with a lively bar scene in the evening.

I was met at the entrance by a welcoming employee, it was a quick check in exactly what I needed after the delayed flight, my room was small but it was what i expected with a stand up shower room, tv and free internet which is always a Good thing. My room was well presented presented in a clean manor all in all it was well worth what i paid there is also a small gym studio which i used occasional with the basic equipment to help keep in shape. All in all it was a great stay so if your looking for a reasonable priced hotel in a good location with great transport links reasonable local dinning option this is a 7/10. Also remember they only serve breakfast which is good because it encourages you to go out and wonder the city of Stockholm ;-)

We had a wonderful stay at the Kung Carl. The room was great and the staff was wonderful. I can't think of anything that I would change except for possibly upgrading to one of the corner rooms. They looked interesting. The breakfast was one
of the best that we've had on any of our travels. (the jams and pickles were like homemade. All in All a wonderful experience as was all of Stockholm.

I wanted an inexpensive hotel in a good neighborhood with easy transit connections, and hoped I would find a nice, boutique, unique place. I did at the Drottning Kristina. I had one of the basement rooms with no windows for 4 nights. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom large with a great shower with rain head that surged with wonderful warm water, the breakfast is outstanding with herring and salmon and good coffee, the staff were all very kind and helpful, my only complaint is that the hotel lobby was undergoing renovations and so when I arrived, I found an unexpected constructions zone. For $86 per night ($70 prepaid) it was not only a bargain, but a delight to come home to after each day of touring. Thank you to everyone there.

Stockholm’s poshest neighborhood was once home of the Royal family’s horse stables and armies. It’s located in the area north of Dramaten, the off-white and gold theatre where Ingmar Bergmann got his start. Shops like Svensk Tenn offer classic Swedish design while Östermalms Saluhall provides an indoor gourmet food market.
