"Great Hotel"
Great hotel. Close to shopping and restraunts. Room was large for Tokyo standard and bed was comfortable. I loved the message chair in the room. Only problem was after my long flight I tried to check in 1 hour early at 1pm. They charged me 1000 yen for early check in even though my room was ready. Otherwise, great hotel.

"great location, tiny tiny room space"
the room is rather tiny, especially if you shop a lot and has large suitcases, there's virtually nowhere to move about in the room. Great location though, walk distance to the metro, major stations, shopping streets and department stores. Staff are fine. Lobby on the third floor, a bit awkward. English doesn't seem to get you around in Japan.

"Hana Toura December 2015"
Excellent check in service, Ginger was so helpful with maps and information. The rooms contain more than mentioned on the website. They do have toiletries and hair dryer and in room safe. NonEngkish TV (that we could find). Plenty of buses near by and underground railway. Easy walking access to lots of temples including Kiyomizu Temple. The stairs with luggage were a bit of a challenge. Room was very comfortable and the best shower. They looked after our washing (and drying) for 500 yen. It was great to come home after a long day out to find the washing in our room. My only comment here is that, it would be nice if it was folded. Good area.

"Great location in Ginza very well designed rooms."
A great new hotel convenient to everything in Ginza. Rooms comparatively spacious by Tokyo standards. Hotel staff pleasant, helpful and spoke very good English.only been opened a few months. Can't comment on restaraunt as we didn't eat there with so much else on offer in downtown Ginza. Highly recommended hotel.

"Nice and convenient to Tokyo Station"
I have stayed at Monterey 3 different times. It is clean, nice, affordable and close to Metro and Tokyo Station (equivalent of about 7-8 city blocks and we walk this with our luggage). Also a Starbucks and McDs nearby. Good restaurant "The Kitchen" across the street.

Nice hotel. It is very new so everything is in great shape. Check-out is at 11:00 which seems too early. Thinking check-out was at noon, like most hotels, I was still getting ready at 11:20 when I got a call from front desk asking me to be quick about leaving the room; that was a little unnecessary.

    Pocket Guide: Tokyo Ginza Hotels

High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
