The king bed was very comfortable.
Spacious room with two queen beds.
Huge elegant lobby. Unfortunately didn't have time to sit and relax the beauty for awhile.
Decent price for breakfast buffet.
Selections were ham, sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, potato fries,
french toast, etc.
They could use several bread selection with the buffet, for toast, butter, jelly or cream cheese, not included with buffet in case you're not a fan of french toast. Unless I missed it.
Server was nice.

We had a nice time, employees were friendly, food was good in resturant, dinner service was not good, took about 1 hour to get served and had to ask for booster chair 3 or 4 times, resturant was not busy.
Room was not as clean as should be. Floor was not vacuumed real good and mold in corners of tub.
Expedia charged me for two kids and hotel does not charge for kids. Hotel could not refund me because I purchased our room through expedia.
Will expedia reimburse me for the charge for two children?

We are met at the door by Arlene the owner. As soon as the introductions were over, she gave us a tour of the house and a brief history of the house and the area we were in " Old Colorado City" Arlene was very knowledgable and you could tell she loved her job and wanted us to feel right at home and that she did very well. We had a smaller but beautiful room located on the second floor. A full breakfast was surved every morning at 8:00am which included, Antie Arlene"s Story Time, where Arlene shared stories or perhaps jokes that were sent to her from past guests. We really looked forward to breakfast each morning to see who we would be having breakfast with and where the were from. Would definitely stay there again.

I was skeptical after reading the reviews for this place, but decided to book it anyways because the price was good. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have any issues with check in and the room was easy to find. The rooms were clean and comfy. The food at the bar was decent and it is conviently located. The one draw back was that the parking lot was packed so we had to park a little further away than I would have liked, but that is to be expected with a place that has people living in it full time. I would definitely recommend this place to someone.

Very nice La Quinta in a very nice part of town. Rooms have unique angles inside, not just four walls. Very roomy, we had a King room. Breakfast area was top notch. Very friendly and eager staff. We loved this motel.
