A little cheaper than other Harbor Side options but a bit further to walk to concert venue. Consider the extra cost of breakfast and parking when booking. The roof leaked around the windows and soaked my clothes the day it rained.. on check out they knew about the issue but didn't offer any concern. The beds were comfortable but small.. so 2 in a bed would not have worked for me. The bar closes early by most WNY standards (11:45).

This was our third stay in the Mansion and it was wonderful. Staff is thoughtful, building is stately and well adorned, and the rooms are quite nice, often with special bath rooms. The happy hour and breakfast is top notch. We will continually return.

"Kid friendly hotel in downtown Buffalo the Great!"
We've stayed here a number of times, usually in the winter months and have always had great experiences. The hotel is well located in downtown Buffalo, a quick drive up Elmwood takes you to the heart of Elmwood village, a great 'hood with a ton of cool things happening. Check out Agave for great, affordable, mexican food, the Albright Knox to touch base on an extremely well curated contemporary art collection and go for a stroll in the Olmsted designed park to the north on your way to the beautiful Darwin Martin House.

I flew my elderly mother to Buffalo for our family reunion. The hotel is furnished very contemporary. The only complaint was the noise from the Ribfest directly across the street. If I had known I probably would've chosen a different hotel but everything was booked. The hotel does not have room service and the pricing in the coffee shop in lobby was expensjve but with the rate at $289.00 night I guess it s/b expected. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
