"Tired hotel that needs a make-over."
Public areas felt dark and dingy and very dated. Rooms were clean but old fashioned.

"Great hotel"
We had a great night away. The feel of the hotel makes for a very relaxing stay. My only complaint was that this time the mattress wasn't very comfortable.

"Great Stay"
My wife and I chose NOTL for a long weekend visit. It was our first time to the area. We found Somerset Jouse online and gave it s shot. We stayed in the master suite. It was super spacious and very clean. The bathroom was was modern and luxurious. The other big benefit was the view. The house sits right on the water so you get an unobstructed view of the mouth of the Niagara River, Firt Niagara on the US side, and Lake Ontario. The location is also nice because it's a short walk into town and just far enough out that the streets are quiet. Plenty of off street parking too. Julie (housekeeper) was very nice and gave us honest reviews of restaurants, activities, etc. We also recommend the foodie tour with Charlie for some history on the town and a chance to duck into a variety of restaurants you probably wouldn't have time to go to. My wife and I aren't the type to laze about the B&B, instead we used Somerset House as a home base and it served our needs very well. Thanks for the stay!

Brilliant house in one of the best places in Southern Ontario. Rooms are beautifully made and modern. Owners John and Karen were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to talk and give advice. Perfect getaway. Breakfasts were fantastic and filling. Wife and I loved our experience and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Will revisit for sure.

"Prefect!"
Serendipity B and B is absolutely prefect. Lovely home, lovely family and can not wait to go back for another stay. Truly felt like home and felt like you were family not just a guest. The food is comparable to a 5-star restaurant. All the winery's, restaurants, and the activities that they also recommended were also prefect. They absolutely live up to their motto "Come as a guest, leave as family."

"Very nice hotel, quite close to historic district"
I really enjoyed our stay at Best Western Colonel Butler Inn! The hotel staff was very kind and friendly! We were greeted by a welcome gift from the front desk and found a handwritten note from the housekeeping staff welcoming us in our room. The room was clean and comfortable, the price was right, and the location of the hotel was quite close to the historic district of NIagara on the Lake, making travel quite convenient. I would definitely stay at this Best Western in the future!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Red Coat. The room was extremely clean and the amenities were very nice. It's a great location to local wineries and nice restaurants. The owners were very hospitable and friendly and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a nice and relaxing get away to Niagara on the Lake. Niagara-on-the-Lake is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Niagara-on-the-Lake, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
