"Iconic NOTL Boutique Hotel"
We have stayed previously so this was a second visit. The location is great for enjoying the whole NOTL experience. The hotel is steps from the lake and has quick access to the lively main street and all it offers. We have eaten at the restaurant numerous times for both lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed the food and presentation. Staff are well trained and knowledgeable and always pleasant. This pleasant and relaxed approach extends throughout the facility. My wife really enjoyed the spar and what was available as a spar service. The staff were attentive, but provided time for relaxation and renewal. All in all we think the hotel provided great value for money with a well trained, welcoming staff. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

"Great staff,location good,rooms weird"
We've been staying here for years and the staff and cleanliness are always top notch. But the new decor is weird -- maybe trendy but uglier than sin. The rooms now have all different kind of light fixtures, none of which match -- they function well for reading or general lighting, but they are ugly. The new dressers are white marble? or plastic or something, also ugly. If you want to have a bite of something in the room there's no table, so one person eats at the desk while the other person is in the corner on the easy chair with a weird TV tray table that's also ugly. We actually asked to move to a ravine room so we could look out the window instead of looking at the hodgepodge decor in the room. It was so ugly it was unpleasant to be in the room. Now breakfast -- CA$16, supposed to be a buffet. But we got yelled at when we tried to open the tray of sausages. No, we were supposed to order, even though the sign next to the tray said it was buffet style. Ordered eggs over easy which we returned because they were cooked hard as rocks. Crappy reheated bacon. The "potatoes" were reheated frozen fried potato composites and totally disgusting. Fruit options were two kinds of melon and a few bits of pineapple. We asked for more pineapple (at 9 AM, closing time 11 AM) because we're not wild about melon and were told the pineapple was all gone. Coffee was awful. We would have done better at the Tim Horton's across the street at 1/4 of the price.

"Great B&B "
My wife, daughter and myself really enjoyed the stay . Sandra was a great host. Very well kept B&B facilities. I'm usually a very demanding person when it comes to cleanliness; the B&B is as clean as you will find with any accommodations in the area. Beautiful location especially in the summer, right next to Queenston Heights and Niagara river.

"Great Stay"
My wife and I chose NOTL for a long weekend visit. It was our first time to the area. We found Somerset Jouse online and gave it s shot. We stayed in the master suite. It was super spacious and very clean. The bathroom was was modern and luxurious. The other big benefit was the view. The house sits right on the water so you get an unobstructed view of the mouth of the Niagara River, Firt Niagara on the US side, and Lake Ontario. The location is also nice because it's a short walk into town and just far enough out that the streets are quiet. Plenty of off street parking too. Julie (housekeeper) was very nice and gave us honest reviews of restaurants, activities, etc. We also recommend the foodie tour with Charlie for some history on the town and a chance to duck into a variety of restaurants you probably wouldn't have time to go to. My wife and I aren't the type to laze about the B&B, instead we used Somerset House as a home base and it served our needs very well. Thanks for the stay!

Niagara-on-the-Lake is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Niagara-on-the-Lake, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
