Great location, walking distance to all the must sights you heard about and want to see. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpfully with directions on how to get to a place and telling you about great places to dine.

Everything in this hotel was carefully thought out expect for the lobby unisex bathroom. It’s a large bathroom that could easily split in two. It is located between a restaurant and bar so needless to say, women who are using the bathroom alone have to worry about being harassed or assaulted by intoxicated men. With my experience, I was. I also noticed while washing my hands along side of men, they were nervous too. Terrible decision. Please divide it in two!

The hotel is in a great location - close to theaters and times square. The rooms are small but clean. Air conditioning worked well. Not much of a view. Construction was going on in the room next to us but never started before 9am. The hotel staff were fantastic and there was free wine for happy hour every day. Added bonus having a mini fridge and microwave. We would stay there again.

The location was excellent. If I could have, I would have rated the hotel 3.5. The staff were friendly. The bed was great. The air handling system was noisy, but other than that it was a quiet location. We were on the 2nd floor. The ‘balcony’ and our windows were at the ground floor of a dark atrium - so NOT. The stairwells which we used being on the 2nd floor - were scary and not at all hygienic - definitely need some attention - space is obviously a challenge, because at times they were crowded with garbage bags. Probably wouldn’t meet code in a fire situation. It wouldn’t take a lot to improve though.

Overall a good stay. There was Work being done on elevators during the time we were there so the wait for an elevator was at times up to 10 min. But the hotel is very convenient to Times Square, shopping, restaurants, Grand Central, MTA and Central Park

Great hotel. Received free upgrade to high floor room with terrific views of the city. Room was very, very nice - bed comfortable, bathroom was amazing, TV great and what an amazing view.
Hotel staff was just terrific from the check in to us getting help when we left a pair of woman's winter boots behind - they shipped it to us that day and it arrived the next day for $5 (really they had it with our room number, etc.).
Location is amazing. A block or two from Subway and block or two from the heart of Soho. You cannot go wrong if your looking for a place out of midtown and blocks away from some of the best shopping, dining and fun neighborhoods in Manhattan.

The neighborhood boasts Manhattan's highest concentration of bars along with diverse choices for dining and shopping as exemplified in the 3-block span of St. Mark's Place.
