"Nice Hotel in Kingston"
I stayed here one night for a trip to Bard College. Hotel room was clean and quiet. Hotel was close to restaurants and downtown Kingston. The free breakfast was excellent. The only negatives were that the room didn't come with a hairdryer and the hallways are dim. Everything in the hallway looks the same and the building can turn into a bit of a maze. Staff were polite and helpful.

"Good value hotel"
The front desk agent was not rude but also not friendly either. The room was clean but there is a vibration somewhere on top of our room and rattling noise that made the stay a little unpleasant. Also the HVAC was on and off too often, every minute, and it was loud, that I had to turn it off in order for us to sleep.

"Minimalist but very comfortable inn"
Spotlessly clean, very comfy, shabby chic decor, but cushy and even deluxe where it counts. Far from the usual fussy B&B decor, there were some antiques around but more of a clean/modern vibe. Pottery Barn aesthetic. Very nice towels, sheets, bathrobes, wooden hangers, comfortable leather side chairs. Wide plank floors. Good light, good heat, easily adjustable thermostat. Restaurant/bar downstairs looked convivial, but I didn't eat there. Room was very quiet. It was a wintertime rental so it might be livelier in the summer. Bed was comfy with a pillow top mattress (too soft for me, but nice quality). Bathroom was really nice, white and tiled, but shower had bad water pressure. Breakfast was a self-serve continental with delicious berries & bananas, yogurt, juice, coffee (which was probably good, but I don't drink it), cold/stale croissants that could sort of be heated up in the toaster, and a mediocre tea assortment. The inn is right on the river; it was stark but pretty in the winter and probably very lovely in other seasons.

"Lovely inn in Red Hook, NY "
Cat, the Innkeeper, and her husband are lovely people and extremely hospitable! If you are staying in the Red Hook area, or going to the Omega Institute, I'd highly recommend that you stay at the Red Hook Inn. Our bed was super-comfy- we stayed in room 4, which was spacious and warm during a wet and raw weekend. Bathroom was clean and towels were soft and plush! That is always one of my highest criteria. The lemon cake served at breakfast, made on the premise by Cat's husband was TO DIE FOR...seriously. The best lemon cake I have ever had anywhere. Ever. My sister had the eggs Benedict, which she loved too. Coffee- hot and delicious. Lots of lovely little touches too- a Keurig coffee machine upstairs to make coffee anytime; fresh baked cookies. A fridge for guests in case you bring back leftovers. You really feels like you are visiting family rather than staying at an anonymous, non-descript chain.

"Above and beyond"
All I can say out of all the hotels and motels we have stayed in, this one by far was exceptional. Every level of this hotel chain of command treated my family as if we were one of their family members. We stayed all week, during the blizzard of March in the northeast. On the day the blizzard hit, to the surprise of ALL the hotel guest, the hotel bought all the guest lunch, free of charge as most were unable to get out due to the storm. We cannot praise them enough. Even when we were checking out, I mentioned our daughter was ill over night, when I returned the luggage cart, one of the gals was standing there with a care package of tea, crackers and water as a small gesture to help her along on our journey. We did not ask for it nor expected it. That in itself is "human service" that has no price. We hope a heart sent thank you is enough to help keep up the superb customer service this hotel gives. Hampton Inn should be very proud of this hotel, a definent model of perfection as hotels go. Your friends from SW Florida

Kingston is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kingston, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kingston hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
