"Very nice, quiet, central hotel."
Very nice, quiet hotel central to all major areas of Merida. On a beautiful street with old Spanish mansions around it. Rooms were immaculate, updated to a modern standard, and the king bed we had was extremely comfortable. A gem to find and price was very reasonable! Probably need a car to stay at this hotel as most restaurants are a ways away, but no problem finding parking on the street right next to hotel.

"Paradise Found !!"
Its Pink!! I chose Rosas y Zocolate to spend my BIG birthday. The hotel, restaurant and staff couldn't have been more perfect. First, the hotel: I felt we had found a hidden gem. The room was right off the pool area and was the perfect setting for a week of total relaxation. There were two us per room and the room was big enough that we each had plenty of room and personal space. The bathroom was wonderful as were the products by L'occitane that were refreshed every day. Second, the restaurant: we ate breakfast in the garden every morning. The selections were great and very delicious. The dinners we excellent, the entrees were very creative and the wine selections from Valle de Guadalupe were spectacular. The ceviche was so fresh I think I had it every time we had dinner. And third, the spa !! I have been to a lot of places that offer a spa experience but nothing compares to the 3 hour Chocolate experience at Rosas y Xocolate. It was heaven with chocolate. There are not enough words to fully describe the total package of our stay. But I think the one thing that stands out most was the staff at this hotel. Everyone was so nice, so accommodating, so extremely polite. I can't wait to visit again.

"Great location, beautiful facility."
We stayed for a week and were very impressed. The hotel is located on a friendly park just a block from the main square, within walking distance of everything in the historic district. The building is an immaculately restored mansion with gleaming tile and antique furniture throughout. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful with our non-existent Spanish fluency. The only issue was that taxi drivers don't seem to know the Mansion very well and confuse it with the Mission.

"Great Location"
The staff were nice, and tried to make our stay pleasant. There are several good restaurants close by. The best deal is the breakfast buffet in the hotel. I was disappointed with the dinner buffet. Better to order off the room service menu. There are a couple of bars very close to the hotel. And The Impala restaurant just about two blocks from the hotel was good. Also it was convenient to have a Walmart about four blocks away. The Museum of Anthropology was beautiful. Lots of Maya Culture on display. Just two blocks and across the street from hotel. The pool was small, but clean and clear. The only drawback was a slight odor in bathroom when the exhaust fan was turned on.

"Nice hotel in downtown Merida"
My husband and I stayed at Koox Art 57 Boutique Hotel for one night after we arrived from the airport, on our way to Playa del Carmen, Tulum & Belize. The hotel was well kept, close to downtown, shopping and restaurants, and the breakfast was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The only negative comment I have is that they didn't respect our queen room reservation, and we ended up with 2 full beds. The reason I give it a 5, though, is because of the super friendly receptionist, who helped us look for a car to rent, taxis, and gave us recommendations for the area. Very friendly and helpful.

Merida is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Merida, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Merida hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
