"Great location, kind staff!"
Very good hotel located just a few steps to the zócalo and minutes to other great places like Mercado 20 de Noviembre, Templo Santo Domingo, Museo de las Culturas, among others. Staff was very friendly. My first room was on the first floor to the inside and you can barely hear the traffic, the only noise (minor) was in the morning when breakfast was served. It was changed to help accomodate a guest with disabilities and got a room with a small balcony facing the street, again noise just in the morning normal when you're close to the heart of the city and it didn't bothered me. They also offered guided tours (Santours) to Monte Albán and Mitla, Hierve el Agua and other places of interest. Service was great, giving plenty of time to enjoy the scenes, without hurrying you.

This beautiful boutique hotel is within walking distance from many great restaurants, coffee shops and points of interest. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are quiet and the staff is superb!! My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Palacio Borghese and would definitely stay there again.

"Very Impressed"
Great location, a few minutes walk to Llano Park and the main Zocalo, well trained staff, and a well appointed comfortable room. The maid quickly learned when I went out and the room was always made up when I returned. The included breakfast was coffee, fruit or juice, eggs, bread, butter and jam. I had a small patio on the ground floor...upper rooms had a balcony. The plant filled central courtyard had tables, chairs and umbrellas. The Parador is on a busy street but my room was very quiet. The TV had many cable channels, the A/C was efficient and the 2 bottles of water provided each day were much appreciated. I plan to book this hotel for my brother and his wife on their first trip to Mexico.

"Good hotel"
Spacious and always very clean rooms, we were in room No 1 that it is very close from the avenue, however, as there are few cars at night in Oaxaca; it was noisy only during the day. Not easy to find a free electrical contact, etc. However, there is a restaurant (we did not use it) and there is a small but nice common area in the interior. Good price for what you get.

"Really close to "El Zocalo" "
The hotel is one step away the main plaza which was good because we were able to see the main attractions. The hotel room was clean and the staff was very welcoming, the hotel staff offers tours to the main attractions for a very reasonable price. The only thing I didn't like was the space in the room, there wasn't enough space.

"A gem of a hotel in a historic setting."
We arrived and fell in love with the Quinta Real. Great location. The converted former monastery was a gen. Waking to our room took time as we took photo's of the courtyards and settings. We picked an inside room with two very comfortable beds. We loved the restaurant so much, we had dinner each night of our four day stay. Loved the staff from the check in, restaurant and tour desk.

"Nice hotel"
The hotel grounds are nice. However, the room we Initially got was definitely too small, lacked character and has issues with wifi connectivity. Also, we were told the bed was a queen size but it was definitely a full size. We enjoyed our stay much more after we paid for an upgrade to a suite...the room was spacious, the bed was truly a king size and the wifi worked. The hotel is right on the Andador Turístico which means great restaurants, shops and museums as soon as you set foot outside. Take advantage of their airport transportation as it costs less than a regular taxi. The included breakfast is pretty decent as it contains hot foods as well. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel overall.

Oaxaca is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Oaxaca, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Oaxaca hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
