"Beautiful views!"
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was his first time in Cabo, my third time (although my other two times were cruise ship stops). The views from the Montecristo villas were absolutely breathtaking, every villa has a view of the ocean, and lets not forget the private pool and hot tub! The service was excellent, all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the all inclusive package, so we hardly left the room all week, so we cannot rate the restaurants, but room service was satisfying (although be prepared for smaller portions, unusual for us Americans, but we thought it was a good thing!). The sister property next door, Sunset Beach, had restaurant and a small market that we went to for a few items for the villa and you can access the beach through that property as well. It is a bit of a walk to get there, but worth it, although you can't get into the water on this side of the peninsula because it is very rough and unsafe, so we just enjoyed the walk in the sand. You also get a personal concierge when you check in, although we did not take advantage of ours during our stay since we did not do any excursions, spa treatments, etc., but she was always checking with us to make sure we had what we needed. Each villa has enough space to sleep at least 6 people, without stepping all over each other (2800 SF, three bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and two half baths) so we can't wait to go back to the Montecristo and bring family and friends next time.

"Convenient, very affordable, and simple."
A quiet, restful, deliberately not fancy trip to Mexico, to enjoy with my 40 year old daughter, was all I wanted, for our annual Mother's Day getaway. No loud megaphone-announced activities at the pool, no raucous partiers doing shots at the bar, no late night noise and stumblers desired, just serene early morning walks, leisurely afternoon baking in the sun, and easy meal options, in case we didn't want to leave the hotel. I opted to pay a very modest amount extra for the all-inclusive (buffet) meals, beverages, and snacks package. The smaller town of San Jose Del Cabo is just 20 miles up the coast of the Sea of Cortez, from the busy downtown Cabo San Lucas; and for a mere $37 pesos ($2 USD) we chose the picturesque, public bus ride taking only about 40 minutes, when we wanted a night out at the Marina. Hotel Posada offered us everything we needed. When we arrived, a few things weren't working properly, but were promptly fixed. The room was very clean, always smelled sweet; the linens were changed daily, and we were literally steps from the sand and palm trees, hammocks, umbrellas and a sparking pool. If you are interested in partying, this is not the place for you. Most of the guests were families and the entertainment included live music, a DJ and Karaoke and of course dancing; just be aware that you'll be dancing right along with kids and us older folks, too. We are already making plans to return next year. PS-Brenda and Urbano at the front counter were awesome! Thanks

"amazing zen experience in San Jose!"
This place! Found it on Expedia and after seeing the photos, we both decided to book it , even though there werent a ton of reviews and we heard it was still under construction. So glad. The construction is still on-going, but was never loud or a bother. There are many buildings close to the beach that are unfinished and although I'm not sure why, there wasnt a rush of busy workers trying to finish them or make any noise. In reviews, we also read "you can hear the music all the time" which was actually one of the reasons we picked it and would return. The outside piped music isn't obnoxious, more of a background noise. It's "euro chill", we decided. Unobtrusive, chillaxing music. It began ( at maybe?) 10am and never woke us up, was just in the background once we opened windows or went out. We arrived early and immediately welcomed with open arms and a delicious hibiscus, rosemary and pineapple drink. The staff was phenomenal. From the waiters to the front desk to the doorman who walked us through our room instructions ( much needed) to the wandering security to Abraham, our pool guy.....ALL the folks went above and beyond. And I mean, more than the average nice hotel. Our room was too die. We needed instructions on the lights ( your bed, ceiling and outer patio have COLOR CHANGING LIGHTS!), A/C and iPad. I wish I had more space to write..but this place is too die! Go! NOW!!!

"Great views and clean "
Great hotel. Best views. Clean. I would give it a 5 but for the cost, I rather get all inclusive. The food and drinks are more expensive than anywhere else around there. Other than that, it's a great hotel. Safe. Good if you don't want to be bothered or don't leave the hotel much.

"Nice resort with great location"
This small resort is close to shopping, the beach, and some wonderful restaurants. The El Patio, restaurant on the resort site, was perfect for breakfast & lunches, with great service. Mary & Noah were very good, & we loved Norma's happy greeting each morning. Liked the swim up bar, but the water was so cold, we ended up just sitting inside.

San Jose del Cabo is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in San Jose del Cabo, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your San Jose del Cabo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
