I had a great stay at Hotel Riu Santa Fe. The property was clean, lively, and well-maintained, with a fun energy throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and consistently helpful, which really elevated the experience. I had an oceanfront room with elevator access, but I often took the stairs since it was conveniently close to the pool. One of my favorite parts of the stay was waking up to the sunrise every morning—it was absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to start the day. I went to one of the Riu parties and it was great—high energy, fun crowd, and a really good vibe. Pacha was especially fun. While I do wish the food there had been better, the atmosphere made up for it. A major plus was the convenience of getting a water taxi without having to go to the marina. There was an independent vendor just a few steps from the hotel on the beach, which made things easy and stress-free. I’d recommend skipping hotel-booked excursions unless convenience is your top priority, as there are better and simpler options nearby. That said, I would likely stay at Riu Palace Baja California next time, as the crowd felt more millennial and adults-only, which seems more aligned with my vibe. Overall, I had an enjoyable, smooth, and memorable stay and would definitely return to a Riu property.

Beautiful property, very clean, great size rooms, lots of pool chairs available. Service is fantastic. Entertainment is okay. Food is okay - would prefer more service options. Mostly buffet. App needs upgrading - poor communication as to what is going on on resort. For example, there was apparently fire works on the beach on New Year's Eve, but we had no idea. We were at main stage, which was great, no complaints. The point is there was no where telling us there was fireworks as well.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful. When our 2 initial rooms were too separated from each other the front desk helped us find closer rooms. Lots to see and do at the resort. Excellent food options. The New Years dinner was amazing!

I will be back for sure!! Great food, great property. My wife and had a fantastic time. Variety of food was excellent Room was clean and stocked. Staff was very kind. The only thing is that I wish there a few extra restrooms around. But that’s it.

The food was just OK. Best were the snacks and tacos. The steak restaurant was good, but I would bot recommend the Italian nor sushi spot. Buffet was ok, but great breakfast.

Great family resort. The only issue we had was the Riu Party crowd brought an unwanted group of immaturity to the relaxing vibe. The pool down by the water was disgusting and cloudy due to all the drunks sitting in it all day. The propewas immaculate and the main pool was great. Great staff. It would be a 5 star if the Riu Party wasnt there.
