The Grand Hotel has the excellent location in the middle of Oslo downtown. The Hotel is elegant. Be sure to reserve parking in advance because the lot is small. From the Hotel you can easily walk to the Harbor where there are museums and a lot of restaurants. The Palace and train station are easily in walking distance. The Grand Hotel is suppose to have a great brunch, but due to jet lag we got up too late and missed it.
