Hotel is located near the city center, the main train station is approximately a 3-5 minute walk. Shopping an plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has ok breakfast, swimming pool is not that great, on site parking is excellent and the fitness center was excellent with a wonderful view of the city

"Comfortable, and cheaper than other hotels nearby"
We had a top-floor room which was spacious enough for a couch and table alongside the bed, and quiet despite a live music event in the square below. Not all the rooms have a bath tub as well as a shower, but this one did. Breakfast was good, with a big selection of bread, fruit, yogurts, cereal and toppings, plus meat, fish, cheese and home-made cake and waffles. Beware leaving your plate unattended while you get up to refill your drink though - cleaning staff are zealous and speedy!
Staff were (aside from the breakfast grabbers) helpful - we had a problem with the lock on our room and a passing member of housekeeping staff noticed us struggling with it and had a spare key brought up before we even had chance to go to reception to report it.
Milk does not seem to be provided as standard with the coffee facilities in the room, but reception is open 24 hours and will provide any extras you need.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I was on 4th floor and it was very quite there, so like some of other customers, I didn't had any noise problem. Everything was simple and fine (including breakfast). I like the location because lot of things were on walking distance like harbor, tourist information centre, museums and castle. Shops, cafes, restaurants (Mcdonalds/Subway/pizza/donner) and supermarkets were also 10/15 mins walking distance. Over all I will rate this hotel as simple with convenient location and most important with affordable price.

My third visit to Radisson Blu Royal in 2015. It is consistently excellent. Only glitch on this trip was front desk staff. At check in the front desk had one person and a long line. At check out the person gave me the wrong receipt and did not charge me for a beer at the bar. Got a call following week chasing me down for a $24 bar bill. I identified the charge to the front desk person at check out and was told then I was paid up to date.
