We only stayed here for two nights. The hotel is right in the city centre and is beautiful to look at from the outside. The inside is nice with a beautiful staircase and our room had a great view. My only complaint is that the bathroom was very out of date. Our sink had steins in it which surprised me when I first entered the room, I don't think it was due to bad housekeeping, just being old. Besides this the room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable.

Had my doubts about this hotel after reading many of the reviews and was really surprised to find a quiet, clean and warm room located on the top floor of the hotel. It's true, there is a bar at the bottom but on the Monday and Tuesday nights we stopped it was dead quiet and calm. Nice bathroom with clean shower and under floor heating, bed was 2 singles pushed together, room was clean enough and there was a TV but it only had 1 channel and that was in Norwegian. The breakfast was more like a packed lunch with a ham, cheese salad sandwich and a bottle of squash. We took it on our day trips out and chose to have breakfast in one of the local cafes.

PRO: Convenient location, good breakfast, near the harbor, Fløyen funicular, fish market, city center ... The restaurant has a nice ambience. The facility is well kept. The business room is spacious, clean, has a Nepresso coffee maker, nicely decorated. The staff is very helpful, attentive and informative.
CON: would be nice to have electrical outlet at both nightstands and individual switch for room lightings.
