I expected to be at the Blu at the train station. The one I booked was at the other end the main st about 1 mile from the main train station. The National Theatre metro stop was a 1/2 block away & busses stop right there. After being here I think we were lucky to be here rather than in city center. The room was on the 12th floor and had a decent view. You'll want to be above 5 to get views. We did ask the front desk for a good spot for dinner one night and could never find the spot that was recommended, but that could have been our fault.
I'd stay here again.

Very hospitable and kind staff , good location and based in the centre of all things a tourist needs . I stayed in the superior room which had great views of the harbour . Just the bathroom was too small and the breakfast did not have much variety especially for vegetarian people.
Will recommend to others .

Quick and easy stay. Staff was hit or miss. One attendant was a bit rude but thr other was helpful.
Biggest complaint was that theres a bar/club downstairs that serves 18 yr olds. Thw bumping music went until 3am. Good thing i had ear plugs although i could still feel thr bass on the 3rd floor.

This is a well located hotel close to the harbour and fish market. The Flybussen airport bus stops outside hotel and has an excellent service to the airport.
The hotel is very busy - appears to be people staying a night or so before a cruise together with lots of coach trip tourists.
We had to change our room when we arrived owing to a 'drain smell'. The second Business Class room was ok but the bed was very soft and you rolled into the middle of the bed. Breakfast was busy and confusing. Why do they have coffee on one side of the restaurant and tea on the other? illogical!! Food selection whilst adequate is bettered in other Radisson Blu hotels such as Amsterdam & Berlin.
Would I stay here again? Probably not - there are plenty of hotels in Bergen to choose from.

The hotel is actually run like apartments, so there is limited interaction with resception unless required. This requires one to go outside and go a few steps in sometimes sub-zero weather, before entering an outside entrance. The rooms were reassonably sized except the bedroom bed is hard up against one wall on one side. Bathroom and kitchen are a good size. The TV never worked, cable system under repairs. Generally it was worth the extra space and kitchen, and the location is good.
