We had read some of the reviews and I think they were listened to. We had a great team of people working on our behalf.
1. We needed a further booking and they took care of everything including getting us lovely rooms in Bergen.
2. We were excited to enjoy the free breakfast but realized our train was leaving at 630am. We would have to leave before the restaurant opened. They made us a box lunch and had coffee already set up for us at 5:45am.
3. We asked for a higher floor and a water view, we accomadated.
We are actually going back there because we were treated so well and we enjoyed our stay so much.
Modern high-rise hotel with imposing glass façade, situated just 50 metres from the Royal Palace in Oslo's city centre.More
The hotel is located centrally, literally a few minutes walk from the central station where the airport transfer train flytoget arrives, Simply exit the station and cross a small bridge (dodging the many beggars and pan handlers you will find in Oslo) and you are there. There are an assortment of shops located in the mini mall nearby (including a co-op and a 7 eleven). Reception area is very spacious but can get really busy when tour buses arrive, but the service is professional and friendly. There is a business centre (chargeable) but if you want to print off your boarding passes, check in on your phone or tablet, email them to reception and they will print them for you, thus avoiding the business centre charge :) Rooms are well equipped and clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spotless with heated towel rail and underfloor heating. Although a busy hotel, corridors and rooms are quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. There is an ice machine on each floor, disposable buckets found on top of them. Breakfast was OK...wouldn't rate it better than OK because the selection of food wasn't great, often unappetizing, cereals stale and staff are either rushing you because it's so busy or want to confine you to specific areas (I'm guessing to reduce cleaning) resulting in overcrowding. Housekeeping is a bit hit and miss, in our experience some days beds were made, towels changed and toiletries replenished, other days the room was untouched. Overall a good hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I was on 4th floor and it was very quite there, so like some of other customers, I didn't had any noise problem. Everything was simple and fine (including breakfast). I like the location because lot of things were on walking distance like harbor, tourist information centre, museums and castle. Shops, cafes, restaurants (Mcdonalds/Subway/pizza/donner) and supermarkets were also 10/15 mins walking distance. Over all I will rate this hotel as simple with convenient location and most important with affordable price.

The location of course is wonderful, right on the historical center.
Room - small, overpriced, but very clean and comfortable enough
Front desk - very busy, long lines but extremely helpful - great front desk representatives
Crowd - looks like this is the default spot for tours. Busses and busses of people, looks like where the European tours go to stay. Older crowd for sure
Breakfast - ok so the breakfast was a cluster mess... The selection of food was good but way too small of an area, no matter what time you went, it was like fighting crowds, just not a pleasant experience. And for heaven's sake, ONE single-serve coffee machine is just not enough for the (literally) dozens of people who are in line for coffee. Do yourselves a favor and buy large coffee pots already
