We had read some of the reviews and I think they were listened to. We had a great team of people working on our behalf.
1. We needed a further booking and they took care of everything including getting us lovely rooms in Bergen.
2. We were excited to enjoy the free breakfast but realized our train was leaving at 630am. We would have to leave before the restaurant opened. They made us a box lunch and had coffee already set up for us at 5:45am.
3. We asked for a higher floor and a water view, we accomadated.
We are actually going back there because we were treated so well and we enjoyed our stay so much.
Modern high-rise hotel with imposing glass façade, situated just 50 metres from the Royal Palace in Oslo's city centre.More
Centrally located hotel adjacent to the central train station convenient to go anywhere in Oslo.
Friendly pleasant staff. Good shopping area and few good restaurants at a walking distance..
Dinner buffet and all inclusive breakfast are reasonable but not great. Old bath tubs with half glass shower doors so you have to be very careful within that half useable area while taking a shower to avoid water spilling on the floor.

The airport shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel, making its location ideal and a stress free journey to get there.
The lobby and indeed most of the hotel is now dated and I believe the hotel is due for a major revamp this year. Saying that the staff were very welcoming and check in was swift and easy. On entering the room we discovered we had been upgraded to business class ,which was brilliant, we were taken back by the view from the floor to ceiling Windows . The beds were very comfortable .
Breakfast was a vast buffet of typical continental fayre , plentiful and fresh. Which was welcome as the food prices in Norway are very high.
Overall great location, walking distance to all major areas. The hotel is dated and in need of a revamp but the price reflected this and when in Bergen you don't spend much time in the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I was on 4th floor and it was very quite there, so like some of other customers, I didn't had any noise problem. Everything was simple and fine (including breakfast). I like the location because lot of things were on walking distance like harbor, tourist information centre, museums and castle. Shops, cafes, restaurants (Mcdonalds/Subway/pizza/donner) and supermarkets were also 10/15 mins walking distance. Over all I will rate this hotel as simple with convenient location and most important with affordable price.

This was a very convenient hotel. Extremelyclean and quiet. No slamming doors. No shouting in corridors.
It was indeed very civilised. The breakfast was extremely generous and well looked after. There was a wide choice for everyone's needs. The adjacent restaurant was convenient for evening meals. The hotel's location in Brygge was both convenient for shopping and visiting the city, as well as for the airport bus which started every tenminutes from the hotel entrance. The bathroom and bedroom was clean and the staff most conscientious. In all an excellent hotel.
