I never write reviews... but I wanted to make an exception.
I was completely amazed with the staff at the W Mexico City. Don't get me wrong, the building and amenities were excellent, but it was the people that made it even more of a perfect trip. From the pre check-in questions and requests handled perfectly online to the great gentleman with a smile that helped us load our bags as we left - everyone was amazing.
There were a few challenges during our 4 day stay, but the staff turned every single one of them into an opportunity to make our stay even better.

The big difference was Ricaardo Melendez, one of the guys helping with the luggage. Since we arrived on the weekend, there was no concierge but Ricardo did great as concierge giving us advise on many things that worked perfect.

Mexico City and Habit are both wonderful. The lobby was small and lovely to sit and have a drink or a cup of coffee. There is a little barber shop, tucked away in the back of the lobby that was very busy and did a great business so must have been good. The pool area is very small with a bar, again very personal.
In addition to loving our hotel, I must point out that an Expedia Concierge rep contacted me and made some travel reservations for me, and would have done much more if needed. That was a very nice thing, not a lot of English speaking.

Two room suite was very comfortable, clean, and accommodating. As somebody who speaks no Spanish, the only inconvenience was that NOBODY spoke any English in the restaurants, nor did they have English menus. Only the front desk spoke English. Taxi service during the week was free to nearby locations. Breakfast included a nice range of food, plus a good cooking station.

By far, this was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. It was truly a luxury hotel. The room was beautiful, well-designed, and finely appointed. The staff were consistently outstanding, and the restaurant (Anatol) was exceptional. The location also was wonderful, and a great base for exploring Mexico City. We highly recommend this hotel. A true gem!

The Polanco area is a collection of seven neighborhoods bordering Mexico City’s famed Chapultepec Park. Both residential and commercial, the area hosts trendy night clubs and high-end boutiques. Chapultepec Park contains many cultural and recreational attractions, including the amazing Anthropology Museum, with the largest collection of pre-Columbian art in the Americas on display.
