Nice hotel. Good transport links; tram stop outside the hotel on a line to the centre of the city.
Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Tea and coffee faculties in room.
The staff were nice and helpful.

Initially room was like a giant bathroom with extra bed in it. There were no chair or table, very congested, did not have feel of room at all. After talking to staff it was changed the next day to a normal looking room which was reasonable. They have different styles of rooms so please ask the staff according to your needs. I was unaware of this thought all the rooms are same so never asked for swap. I realised after seeing another room where my colleague was staying. Staff was helpful and never created any fuss and it was a straight forward swap. For price it was ok.

This hotel has been converted from either an apartment or student hospice building. The room was ok size but prolonged and narrow so not most convenient. For two people it would be ok but for us three it wasn't enough space with an extra bed in the way.
The beds were doubles at best. Mattress and pillows were ok but not great.
There was a Nespresso expression machine which was nice. Also a safe and kettle. No fridge.
The bathroom and toilet rooms which were separate were the main letdown. Both were very small. It was ok for toilet. For some reason they didn't install a shower curtain or door and all splashes went to the floor and it was always full of water.
Overall the location was good and hotel was good. It was clean enough but could be cleaner.

This hotel has a unique history - used to be a hospital and orphanage. Great architecture, bright rooms. A little out of the way from major sights but is in quiet neighbourhood and near a lovely park. easy to walk or tram it to key sites like Rijksmuseum, Heineken brewery, zoo, canal tours etc. An off the beaten path gem!!

These Apartments are of a very high quality and would recommend to anyone looking at them. I went for the room with the maisonette and was pleasantly suprised. The only glaring fault I found with the room was I could not tree the TV from the bed.
The first night me and my girlfriend fell asleep with the TV on and randomly during the night a man walked in the room, woke us up and told us to turn the TV off. Neither of us were impressed to say the least and this is the only reason they did not get 5 starts for customer service. Other than that the customer service was faultless. The first day the drain in the shower was slightly blocked. We told reception, went shop and within 15 minutes it was fixed. The staff all were very good with directions, and good advice on things to do in the day.
The location was great in certain respects but poor from others. It isn't central so you don't get the noise which is always good but means you will need to get transport to central. Your choices are to walk (25 minutes) to just reach central then walk when you are there. Bike which I didn't do as whether wasn't amazing. Or Bus which is about 7 minutes. After walking to the hotel once we chose to catch the bus every other time. 1 hour pass was 2.90 they do a 24 HR pass 48 and 72 which can be used on bus and trams we got a 48hr for 12 euros. The 22 bus stopped practically outside the hotel at the oostenburgergracht stop. You can also catch the tram(10) which takes you to the Van Gough museum

Fantastic little hotel with very easy going staff whom are really friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean however our bathroom was built into the roof and I'm 6'2 and had troubles fitting into the shower. As well as the shelving below the mirrors is too close to the sink so washing your face is troublesome. Other than this the hotel was great!

The rooms were small but very comfortable, clean and had new comfortable beds! and they had free goodies in the mini fridge! just having a little fridge is such a great thing to have when traveling as well it had modern bathrooms, which were well stocked, clean and the water pressure was great. the rooms had no AC but I did not expect this anyways. The hotel itself is really pretty and the breakfast room is a stunning turn of the century room with a magnificent ceiling and wall décor! worth stepping into this room even if you don't have breakfast! the location is so perfect, right on the tram line and the neighborhood is safe, lovely and very family friendly and easy walking distance to all the major sites. They even had a very sweet cat that lived at the hotel. I will absolutely stay there again and recommend it highly. as well the staff was very friendly. ...

This area is known as Plantage (Plantation) and while its lush parkland has mostly gone, botanical gardens and the small Artis Zoo provide refuge from the hustle of the city. To the north, the excellent maritime Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum is a reminder of Dutch naval power; to the south the ethnographical Tropenmuseum holds exotic treasures from the Dutch East Indies.
