These Apartments are of a very high quality and would recommend to anyone looking at them. I went for the room with the maisonette and was pleasantly suprised. The only glaring fault I found with the room was I could not tree the TV from the bed.
The first night me and my girlfriend fell asleep with the TV on and randomly during the night a man walked in the room, woke us up and told us to turn the TV off. Neither of us were impressed to say the least and this is the only reason they did not get 5 starts for customer service. Other than that the customer service was faultless. The first day the drain in the shower was slightly blocked. We told reception, went shop and within 15 minutes it was fixed. The staff all were very good with directions, and good advice on things to do in the day.
The location was great in certain respects but poor from others. It isn't central so you don't get the noise which is always good but means you will need to get transport to central. Your choices are to walk (25 minutes) to just reach central then walk when you are there. Bike which I didn't do as whether wasn't amazing. Or Bus which is about 7 minutes. After walking to the hotel once we chose to catch the bus every other time. 1 hour pass was 2.90 they do a 24 HR pass 48 and 72 which can be used on bus and trams we got a 48hr for 12 euros. The 22 bus stopped practically outside the hotel at the oostenburgergracht stop. You can also catch the tram(10) which takes you to the Van Gough museum

The hotel is a 20-25 min taxi ride from the airport and a 10 min tram ride to Dam square (add 5-7min for central station. The tram stop is 100m from the hotel so all very convenient. Many cafes near the hotel to have a meal and hotel is location in a quiet and leafy area (think Holland Park if you live in London).
Staff very helpful and allowed early check-in. Rooms are a tad tired but no major complaints really..

Very convenient and easy to get to. We would have preferred a hotel closer to the town centre, but when you weigh up the difference in cost this was much better value for money. The walk to the city centre was nice, but took about an hour. Much easier to use the tram which runs every 15 minutes (was more like every 5 minutes during the daytime) and stops close to all of the main attractions, or the night bus which runs every half hour throughout the night. Cant fault hotel or staff. Food was lovely. Hotel was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Little bit far from centre, there is tram 9 goes to near by. Hotel is 2 houses combined. Very steep stairs, if you have room on the top and have lots of luggages... Good luck with that as there isn't any lift. They are refurbishing some rooms. We just stayed for a night, for us it was OK. Very good value for a night.

A unique fairytale experience with the utmost in luxury and hospitality from the owners of the hotel. I was celebrating a 10 year anniversary with my partner, she was blown away and certainly made our time in Amsterdam really special.
The room décor is relaxing, enjoy a glass of wine next to the fireplace in your suite living room.
The breakfast experience is out of this world, I wont detail, don't want to spoil the surprise.

This area is known as Plantage (Plantation) and while its lush parkland has mostly gone, botanical gardens and the small Artis Zoo provide refuge from the hustle of the city. To the north, the excellent maritime Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum is a reminder of Dutch naval power; to the south the ethnographical Tropenmuseum holds exotic treasures from the Dutch East Indies.
