Camino Real Polanco Mexico

Mariano Escobedo 700, Col Anzures, Mexico City - Map
"Great space and good location"
The hotel looks great and the rooms and bathroom are nice and spacious. I wouldn't recomend it during the cold months since it has no heat. I just returned and my first nights were unconfortable due to the cold. For club room the nightly drinks and snaks are only available for one hour and the breakfast selection is very limited, if you are staying there for a longer period of time you will tire of it.

Hyatt Regency Mexico City

Campos Eliseos No. 204 Polanco, Mexico City - Map
"Excellent staff. Good location. "
Visited Mexico City for 5 days in January 2017 and stayed at the Hyatt Regency in one of their club rooms. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk helped me break down large bills to smaller denominations so I could tip our bellman afterward. Room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The bellman explained everything except how to operate the coffee maker which took me a day to find the power switch on it. LOL. My room included access to the Executive Reception area on the 40th floor that include a lounge, an extensive offering of tapas and a butler. The staff here were exceptional and the quality of the tapas and open bar very good. Both hot and cold appetizers served in the evening and in the morning, a complete selection of hot and cold breakfast items. The pool / fitness area on the 3rd floor is large and has all the equipment anyone would need to complete their workouts. Overall the hotel has the feel of one built in the 1970s with heavy concrete architecture but I'm sure it was recently updated and remodelled. I would recommend to anyone to stay here in the future if they are looking for a comfortable and safe hotel in the Polanco district.

"Upscale, safe, neighborhood."
We booked a Junior suite that turned out to be a rather small typical hotel room, although well appointed, with a nice (not very large) bathroom with a shower. When we expressed disappointment in the size of the room we were moved, with no fuss, to a larger satisfactory room with a generous sized bathroom with a shower and soaking tub. Staff were very accommodating with local information etc. A full breakfast ordered from a menu (not a basic buffet) was free and very nice. The usual hassles with Taxi fares are avoided and are much cheaper using Uber.

"Good location in Polanca, "
All in all I enjoyed the hotel, the first night there it felt a bit cold so called reception who put in a floor heater within 5 minutes. Before staying here I had read some of the reviews and on reflection after staying here I think they are a bit harsh. I only ate breakfast at the hotel as there is so much to do around here but have to say I enjoyed it, mind you I only ate the Mexican cuisine... yummy... The staff always tried to help when I would ask about something and would print me off a map for anywhere I wanted to walk to.... The place in clean and nice and the internet is good...

"Nice hotel in the heart of Polanco. "
My husband and I stayed at the W for one week - to celebrate New Years 2017. This W hotel is typical regarding being very trendy and full of "the beautiful people". Of course with that comes attitude from other guest staying at the hotel. As long as one is comfortable with that - all else is well. The staff were very nice, knowledge, spoke English very well and always willing to help. I would stay here again.

"Nice Hotel Close to Chapultepec Area"
This hotel met my expectations. Room service was affordable, rooms were kept clean, and I appreciated the 2 water bottles that were provided in our room every day. The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. We arrived a couple of hours early for check-in, but were allowed to enter our rooms to leave our belongings. The hotel is a $150 (peso) taxi ride away from Chapultepec Castle/Park. Make sure to check out the National Museum of Anthropology located a short walking distance from the Castle! Restaurants, a pharmacy, and a hospital are conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel. My only 2 cons include the paper thin walls in the rooms (wasn't pleasant having to hear sex noises through our walls and what I believe to be construction noises), and one of the rooms we were assigned smelled like smoke despite being a non-smoking room. My parents got the smoky room, and while they didn't ask to be given a different room, I'm sure the hotel staff would have understood and given them a different room. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Miguel Hidalgo hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
