"Nice hotel "
Nice hotel in the middle of Mexico City. Short walk to the park and other tourist attractions. Night life seemed a little run down but just a quick taxi ride to a lot of good spots.

"Sophisticated, Great Location. Adults-Only Pool"
A well kept 5-star hotel. Common areas are beautiful, if not as large en masse as competing 5-star options; one of the great things about springing for a 5-star is the larger and classy common areas to lounge around, that was just a bit lacking. But the extra service and stellar attention to detail that you'll get from a 5-star and usually not a 4/3-star property is absolutely there at the Marquis Reforma. Our room's HVAC system seemed to keep things terribly warm at night - as they'd upgraded our space without requesting so it seemed a more than fair trade to our favor, but it was indeed hot in the room at night for some reason and I suspect a more tightly controlled HVAC maintenance check regimen for every unit would have eliminated that problem. Attend the Sunday buffet if you're there then, you'll love it and they break out all the stops. I was duly impressed with the night manager's professionalism. I would certainly stay there again and recommend to others. POOL INACCESSIBLE FOR CHILDREN; while I did really like this great hotel, it is important for future bookers that they know this going in, as we bought partly on those pictures of the pool and as the parents of 8 and 10 yr olds we could have had more quality/cultural/adventurous time to ourselves if we could have left our daughters and their phones at the pool occasionally.

"A very good hotel"
Hotel is real good, the crew is fantastic, all of them are very friendly and they all are ready to help you and solve any problem you may have The actual hotel is aging and not in a very good way. Rooms are clean and generally speaking well maintained, though we had a minor issue with a clogged shower Restaurants are good On the downside I will say there is no free/included in your bill WiFi access, you have to pay a separate fare for it

"Good hotel within city airport"
Well located within terminal 2 at the Mexico city airport. Lots of food facilities within the airport and good transportation available. I used Uber with no problems. The room is spacious and well insulated from any noise. WiFi works very well at all places within the hotel. The hotel and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is attentive and caring.

Las Suites Campos Eliseos

Campos Eliseos 470, Mexico City - Map
"Beautiful off the beaten path hotel"
Las Suites is a modern, well appointed, and lovely hotel situated in the affluent Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. If you don't speak Spanish, you will find it moderately difficult to communicate with the hotel's staff as only a couple of them that we encountered spoke enough English to answer questions. The rooms are spacious; the beds are comfortable and large; and the decorations are contemporary and lovely. We were very pleased when the hotel allowed us to check in early after our long flight, and were even happier when we walked into the nice room. However, the hotel doesn't offer much to look at in the way of views, and we're not entirely certain we were placed in the room category that we selected...but again grateful for the early check in. The Polanco neighborhood is upscale, clean, safe, and surrounded by lovingly cared for trees and parks. There are many good restaurants/bars within a reasonable walking distance from the hotel, and a variety of high-end shopping opportunities. A large grocery store is only an 11-min walk away. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is okay...filling, but not too impressive. However, we ordered dinner on our last night and found it to be delicious. The staff took care in preparing and presenting our steaks, appetizer's and vegetables. We were able to reheat it in the nice kitchen. Related note: the hotel only gives 2 pods a day for the espresso maker, and only provides 1 roll of TP in the bathroom (no extras in the bathroom).

"Beautiful hotel in need of better staff"
The hotel is beautiful. It is in a nice part of town and is very opulent and historical. The rooms are large and clean. My only gripe is the staff. I found them cold and arrogant. Although they let me check in early, they made sure to make me feel as if they were doing me a big favor even though they had me stay in the smoking part of the building (and I don't smoke). Upon check out, I didn't check my receipt -- which was made out to another person! Unfortunately, I did not catch this mistake until the hotel staff gave me a huge hassle and refused to let me leave the hotel until I proved to them I had paid and checked out. (I stayed with a friend in another room my last night because my flight was at 2:00am the next morning and I didn't want to pay for a whole night for a few hours of sleep). I considered making this my "go to" hotel in Mexico City, but the staff seemed unfriendly and, quite frankly, incompetent. If you're looking for ease and comfort, I'd suggest staying at a more established and professional hotel. The price at this hotel is low because the hotel is old (though beautiful) and in need of updating, but also because the staff seems uninterested in making your stay pleasurable. In my case, I'd consider it as a back-up hotel. There are lots of old, beautiful hotels in the city.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
