Overall, the hotel was excellent. It is centrally-located and very close to a train station. There was also plenty to do in the neighborhood from dining at restaurants to sightseeing at a botanical garden. In addition, the staff was friendly and quite accommodating.

Hotel Daniel has many positive attributes as well and some excentricities that did not match our interests or maistream needs. The location was great but there does not
appear to be any ADA access to the lobby. Our party had to carry a child stroller up and down the exterior steps. Our executive double included some nice design and construction but the rope swing or sling hanging from the ceiling was awkwardly placed and two high off the floor for a short person to use especially by men. After trying this wicked device twice during our three nights stay I nicknamed our room the nut cracker suite. It might have been comfortable for a gymnast or circus performer but we are neither. I would not describe anything about this hotel as warm or comfortable except perhaps they outside bar area. The hotel publications are illustrated with photos and descriptions of a garden with sculptures which seemed unique but there is no access to that area for guests. This hotel may be fine for fit single business travelers but I would not suggest it for a family.

Went to vienna. Had to call the place for a code to get the room key a card really. Unfortunately it was the wrong key and we had to wait about an hour for someone to come. The person responsible overslept.
Then the room wasn't set up. We asked for an extra bed so had to ask again . Towels and toilet paper too. As for 6 people there wasn't enough left in the apartment.
The kettle had mould in it so wasn't used by us. Everything else was clean and usable.
Then one night we came back and the card to the room did not work. So had to phone a few times trying to follow instructions. Also instructions that were not given at the beginning. In the end even the general card didn't work and had to wait 45 minutes for someone to come again . apparently the system will be changed into a propwe key rather than the card.
As I speak German language was not a barrier .
Please bear in mind that the apartment is cleaned before you move in. Check in time is any time if you arrange it. And then it is cleaned when you check out. Check out time is at 10. There is a lift in the building but rather small . For 4 people or I would say 1 and a suitcase. Public transport is just a minute walk away and so are supermarket and shops. So it is very convinient. The train from the airport also only takes about 20 minutes and one minute walk from the apartment.

Arrived after hours so I didn't interact directly with the staff; however, everything was prearranged and it worked flawlessly; I was in transit from the Czech Republic flying back to America and had arranged for one night in Vienna; I wish I had more time to stay.
The room and facilities were modern and clean; the hotel is located near a subway station in a residential quite street. Very convenient for the airport and downtown areas.
The breakfast room was lovely as it was the rest of the building.
Accommodations were superb and I will stay again in the future when I visit Vienna

Vienna’s third postal district east of the city centre has medieval origins and now features many important sights and embassies. Another much-visited attraction is a visually interesting housing development called the Hundertwasserhaus.
