Stayed 3 nights whilst visiting Munich. Only 159m from main train station, so easily walkable. Also 10 mins walk from centre of the city. Hotel has a bar, reception and small lounge and eating area. Staff great and multi lingual. Rooms clean and cosy, bathroom a little small. All areas warm. For a budget stay in a good standard hotel it is ideal.

A formerly independent locality older than Munich, Laim is a residential quarter located just south of the Nymphenburg Palace. The Laimer Anger is the historical centre, with the 14th century church of St Ulrich opposite. The Rex Kino, on Agricolaplatz, is Munich's oldest cinema. Laim also has a beer garden and a weekly farmer's market.
