Rooms were small but very clean. Location was a five minute walk to the central train station, making it an easy commute from the airport or day train trips to the castle areas or Austria.
Numerous beer halls nearby. The big red bus hop on and of is located just around the corner. Karlsplatz underground mall and Marionplatz are both a short walk.
Only issue I had was controlling the room temperature, it was very warm and had to control it with the window open.
Breakfast buffet was very good, staff very helpful. Two other King's hotels nearby so don't go to the wrong one

Excellent hotel directly opposite the main station, Hauptbanhof. As easy to find as you can get. The lobby, bar area, downstairs seating area etc was first class, modern yet relaxed. The room was very high quality. Large in size, clean, all the furniture you would require. Very impressive.
I did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that.
Breakfast, as in most hotels, is a ridiculous price so I would recommend you walk across to the station and eat in there. Plenty of options to choose from, either in the entrance area or further in.
The only downside was noise from the road. I had a side room yet I could still hear noise from traffic. Soundproofing needs to be improved.

Close to all attractions and public transportation. Just across the shopping area and tourist spots. Guest room is small and typical for European standards. Room needs some updating but overall not bad at all (carpets need cleaning). Friendly staff and very accommodating.

The former summer residence of Bavarian royalty, the baroque Palace Nymphenburg is set in a 200-acre park with other stately buildings including the Pagodenburg and Badenburg pavilions, the Magdalenenklause, and the Amalienburg hunting lodge. To the north are Munich’s Botanical Gardens while to the east is the Hirschgarten. Neuhausen is also a smart residential area.
