This hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from the city center attractions and about 15 minutes from the beautiful English Gardens. The hotel rooms are small but well appointed with attractive bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is extensive with plenty of hot and cold choices.
The only complaint with this hotel is the staff. While they are efficient, it seems like they have been instructed never to smile and are disciplined if they look to be the slightest bit happy. It's a shame, because the rest of the hotel is very good.

Close to tram (200 yds) and very easy to access all major attractions as it is only a 7-10 minute tram ride to the main train station. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and they offer a nice breakfast buffet that is a mix of North American and European.

Had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English. Keen to help. The room was very comfortable with free mini bar of 2 beers and 2 water. Free WiFi. Free coffee in the foyer along with newspaper. Have the facility to cook in the room and supplies, food and drink, could be purchased in the supermarket next door. My room had a terrace, did not use but would be something lovely in better weather. The self service breakfast was amazing, felt full all day, do not eat if you want to have lunch, they have the option of a mini breakfast for that occasion. Eat in the Italian next door on the night of arrival, fabulous. Felt safe walking in the area. Very beautiful this time of year, October, with the leaves turning. Had a beauty salon, fitness centre and sauna that I did not use but when I come back will do so. Make a request if you need a robe and slippers. Had quite a detailed information in the arrival pack. Very near the centre of Munich and the main attractions. Is near one of the best beer gardens but did not get the chance to try it out. When I booked this hotel it was one of the cheapest option so did not expect much, got so much more and would definitely stay again

The hotel was very nice inside and had a romantic candle lit restaurant and a nice breakfast buffet in the mornings. The only thing was the location as it was a bit far from the centre of Munich but once you work out how to use the tram then it's ok!

"Comfortable and clean hotel near public transport."
Very relaxing! The facilities were good and it was easy to visit all the sights as access to public transport was located conveniently near to hotel. Pleasant atmosphere in hotel and surrounding area with a few restaurants nearby. Room service was excellent: room and bathroom cleaned and tidied daily. We had a courtyard room which was mainly quiet. Daughters loved the free drinks and sweets!

I booked this hotel for 6 nights. It was functional, with separate bathroom, living/bedroom area with Tv, satellite and stereo and a kitchenette equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots pans, and hob cooker, microwave and sink and fridge.
Room size was reasonable but nothing excessive. It was warm, had good natural light and was quiet. My only eye raiser was my room was next door to a tombstone manufacturer, so be aware if you are in the rear corner of the building.
Laundry (washer/dryer & ironing facilities) in basement with vending machine. Security cameras overlooked doors/corridors and place was clean.
No onsite reception (managed from another office location, helpful staff) but well thought out access and key is picked up from a key code entry box, emailed through. All very slick and well done.
Small kitchen but you can cook reasonable meals as level of services are good (stainless steel pans etc).
I gave room comfort 3* in the review, not because there was anything wrong with it: it was just smaller than in the other location. Room was practical and comfortable with good storage (shelves/bookcases/wardrobe/drawers) but the size of the room felt "cosy". It was not so small you'd fall over your belongings as the storage facilities were good. Also had chair to watch TV.
All in all a good option for anyone who wants a little more comfort than a "standard" hotel if staying for more than 2 days, but if you were in the room during the day it might not feel so comfortable.

Near the center of Munich in a quiet location. The rooms are roomy and clean - even with balconies. The staff was nice and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, with delightful outdoor tables.

The former summer residence of Bavarian royalty, the baroque Palace Nymphenburg is set in a 200-acre park with other stately buildings including the Pagodenburg and Badenburg pavilions, the Magdalenenklause, and the Amalienburg hunting lodge. To the north are Munich’s Botanical Gardens while to the east is the Hirschgarten. Neuhausen is also a smart residential area.
