"A known good"
This is my second visit to the LN. As always the hotel is clean, modern, comfortable, quiet and the parking is secure. It ticks all the right boxes.for the experienced traveller and is situated in a very quiet professional area The rooms are small but the clever layout and modern fittings compensate well. The space is there in the important stuff like bed and bathroom. Location is central to the capitol but there are restaurants and cafes attached to the nearby hotels (walking distance) in the area. Canberra is easily commutable if you have a car, so shopping at Belconnen, Woden and the city centre are minutes away on easy roads.

"Nice digs close to city."
The QT was spacious, quiet and clean. For the experienced traveler that is praise enough. Central heating was a bit generous for those with a working metabolism but that is such a minor point. Staff were friendly and polite. The hotel is walking distance from cafes and restaurants and Canberra Central shopping if you're happy to travel 500m or so by foot.

"Good hotel for self accommodation"
Great that it has washing and food prep facilities and a mini grocery shop and restaurant downstairs. Only bad point for my stay was the noise from Council workers starting up their deisel machines in the adjacent car park at 6am. Although I was on the third floor, the external noise protection was almost non-existent. It felt like there was a big diesel compressor in my room.

The room was good but during the night there was some sort of data box in the cupboard of the room that would produce the mist startling flashes. Also no table on which to eat room service. We had a larger room that could take an extra bed. We did need an extra bed so they should have filled the space with a table on which to eat. Also for a new hotel there was a lot water damage on surfaces from glasses etc.. due to the type of finishes in the room.

"Close to restaurants and attractions"
Generally good however bathrooms could do with a makeover. We all grazed our legs trying to get in and out of the spa bath which had been converted to a shower cubicle. No grab rails to hang onto for safety. Also a big hole cut out of the ceiling which we assumed was going to be a manhole.

"Easy Access to Calvery Baseball Fields"
This is the second time we have stayed here (7 nights) during my daughters National Baseball tournament, which is walking distance to the fields, so very convenient. The weekly price through Expedia was great with breaky included. The staff are always friendly and accomadiating to requests. Only complaint was this visit we noticed the pillows were on the thin side and really firm. We asked twice to have them changed, which the house staff did prompltly. Unfortunately they weren't much better. So if staying for a lenghthy period I suggest you BYO pillow/s. That being said this was only a minor complaint, otherwise can't really fault the hotel or staff! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to those looking for a good deal whilst staying in Canberra!

Griffith is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Griffith, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Griffith hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
