"No Frills"
Convenient location and relatively cheap. Wifi is spotty but works fine as long as you are not going to sit around in your room all day surfing the web. To get to NYC, you are going to have to pay one or more tolls, so factor that into the price. There is free, available parking here unlike most hotels in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens. You are right beside a busy highway so there is noise, especially during morning rush hour. There is a Starbucks within walking distance but not many other restaraunts.

The room, especially the bed, is not clean enough. I found some hairs and black things in the bed. All things is good except this.

"Perfect spot to bike NYC from"
I spent the weekend there. With the hotel being one block from the George Washington Bridge, it is perfect for cyclists looking for a cheap place to sleep at night while exploring the city in the daytime. Free parking and a big bed, less than one block from the bridge. There's nothing better for the purpose. The room was on the bottom floor, facing towards the busy roads outside. I slept like a baby. The hum of the traffic is relaxing, not annoying. The bed was comfy, clean, and big. Everything in the room was a little old and worn out, but completely clean. If you expect a brand new hotel for this price in NYC you are delusional. It is a place to sleep and recharge.

"Convenient location to go to downtown"
We arrived at around 8:30pm. Staff provided Welcome cookies when chckin'in.After the short rest, we went out to the downtown, there's a lot of Asian restaurants.Really fine cuisine. As we had the car, no problem to drive there, but I'm not sure if the guest without car also convenient or not.

"Nice hotel, though cleanliness questionable"
Made reservations online in wee morning hours of the same day I was planning to stay. Called hotel manager to verify reservations and room amenities; hard to understand him, but he was pleasant and my questions were answered. Check-in was expedient. My non-smoking room was in the building sharing the main lobby; I had an interior hallway leading to my room. Room smelled pleasant. A/C/Heat unit worked smoothly and was clean. However, noticed some hair next to bathroom sink faucet...and in the sheets of my bed (!). Spoke with night manager, who swiftly contacted cleaning staff. Staff changed my sheets and night manager made follow-up room call to verify issue addressed. Some additional notes (FYI): --Only found two towels (bath) in the bathroom. I later found a hand towel and two wash clothes on my corner office desk. Not sure why they were there...but glad they were a/v --Secretly wished I had brought sanitation wipes with me. The room's dining table and chairs looked...unclean, as did the surfaces of all the other furniture in the room, except for my bed spread (fortunately!) --Carpet also didn't look well-vacuumed... --Noticeably missing a hanger in my closet, but had enough hangers for my needs so didn't report this to the manager --Bed comfy :) Not a bad stay overall since I just needed a nice, clean smelling (this can be hard to come by) place to sleep that was closeby my ultimate destination (NYC). A bit pricey, but then again, so are most of the hotels in the area.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Fort Lee hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
