"Handy location, close to services/public transport"
We have stayed at this location twice now, and will again when we visit Melbourne. The Hotel is in a good location being close to services such as a shopping centre and a Tram stop right outside the door which is a 15 minute trip into the city centre.
The rooms are comfortable, modern, clean and well appointed.

Beautiful old world hotel - perfect position: opposite the Fitzroy gardens - excellent staff.
There is a fitness centre of sorts - it is poked away in what appears to be an attic & has a very limited range of exercise machines - it needs to be much more comprehensive & more accessible for guests.

Quieter section of the CBD, but within walking distance to most facilities.
Excellent front of house staff, have not experienced better service in many years. They are all to be commended. The staff were genuinely helpful each time we approached them.
Room was serviced daily and fresh towels provided.
The staff at the Restaurant and Bar were also knowledgeable and service was good each time we visited.
All in all a happy stay.

Thank you team QT Melbourne for your friendly and lovely service.
QT made my stay stylish, intimate and cool in a hip neighborhood. The location is the best, walking distance to some of the best cafes & restaurants in town, not to mention the sexy QT rooftop bar.
Artistic room, unique combination of rustic and natural material. Very spacious and comfy beds.
One of the issues I had is the consistency, cleanliness and tidiness – some items are placed in different position everyday, room floor had human hair behind, one day I had dirty glasses and cups behind and the other day the window is opened.

It started with a free room upgrade and bottle of wine waiting for me in the room and only got better. The room was quite modern and well appointed. The mattress for my room was also changed out during my stay (as were a number of others in the facility). The free WiFi was also a definite plus and a reasonably fast compared to others I have used.
The front desk was able to provide a transit pass when I asked about them and greeted me whenever I came through the door. There is a hot breakfast which can be purchased from the front desk however I did not need it.
The only complaint I have (and it's really a minor one) was that the towards the end of my stay (after the Grand Final) occasionally my room was missed being serviced but never back to back. That being said, when next I come back to Melbourne I will definitely be back to this hotel.
One thing to note is parking can be a challenge in the CBD and the nearest parking is 1/2 a block away but visible from the front door.

Though it sounds like a far-flung suburb, East Melbourne is very much in the heart of the city and home to Parliament House, seat of the Parliament of Victoria. Nearby is St. Patrick's Cathedral, a gothic revival edifice and the largest church in Australia. Fitzroy Gardens features a miniature Tudor village. The Melbourne Cricket Ground is one of the largest stadiums in the world.
