The property is fine. Rooms are spacious. The location is great. Check in process could be improved. I am a regular guest and there is usually a wait to check in, no matter the time of day. The hotel should consider options to speed this up including electronic submission of ID documents, self check in system, or indeed putting more people on the front desk.

Time Hasn’t Been Kind to this Hotel

I can see that the hotel was once nice, but it has been a long time since then. Very old, very outdated. The rust in my bathtub told a story of decades of neglect. It’s fine if you can get a deal, but it’s not worth much.

The room was spacious and reasonably priced. Jus beware there are 2 buildings, we had 2 reoms booked and were not told they are in separate buildings. Yes, there was an information sheet given to us at the time of check-in but we didn't read it until after we couldn't find one of the rooms. Breakfast was good. Pool is a little small with lots of kids- not built for swimming.

The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful the room was far from clean heating didn’t work people in rooms around ours slamming doors day and night and being noisy and inconsiderate. We stayed here in February 2025 and didn’t have a problem but definitely gone down hill and will not be staying here again!!!

Comfortable, Great Seervice and Friendly

From the first moment, service was friendly and efficient. Check-in was seamless. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. The sink was separate to the bathroom, with no door to the sink area. Breakfast was great. Evening meals were very good, although there was a hiccup with our dessert (mudcake) coming 3/4 frozen after a long period of time. The bar staff were tardy in coming to customers waiting to be seated. All in all a great place and we would come again.
