"Warm welcome. "
Always made to feel special. We find the Langham convenient and welcoming. Short break but always reluctant to leave. We use all amenities and the breakfast is great with plenty of choice. The staff are efficient and cheerful. Although it was cold outside we had a warm welcome at the hotel. We are planning the next break soon.

"Great spot."
Great location, friendly staff, clean, tidy and well apointed room (you can even do a spot of cooking). Very comfortable bed, good size TV and decent wifi: in short, a perfect spot for a quiet night's sleep, especially in Rm 801. You are close to trams, shops and restaurants and only a brisk 5 minute walk to Cumulus, the funkiest place on Flinders Lane for a top breakfast.

Crossley Hotel Melbourne

"Fantastic location with great staff !!"
We (mum, dad and 2 kids in 20's) have just retured from 5 nights in Melbourne staying at the Crossley Hotel. Whilst it wasnt the newest shiniest hotel around it was a fantastic place to explore Melbourne from and in a great loaction for the free tram stops and chinatown. The staff could not do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed to check in to one of the rooms (other one wasnt available) when we arrived at 7am, which was fantastic and allowed us all to recharge our batteries for a couple of hours before hitting the streets of Melbourne. We were also given a late checkout of 12 noon for both rooms to coincide with our airport transfer - again a fantastic help. Both rooms we booked were standard rooms on the 1st floor and had no negative points other than being a little dated, Our teenagers room was a few doors down and there window was massive and the room felt light and bright where as ours was a little gloomier due to the smaller window - other than that they were great rooms Loads of hidden fantastic cafe's and restaurants nearby. A new bar was just opening up underneath the hotel and was a great relaxed place to hang out. Downside to the Crossley is no room service and no hotel bar - it would have been nice to all meet up in the hotel bar instead of hotel rooms - but that is a minor glitch. Will definately stay here again if visiting Melbourne again.!

"Overnight stay at Hyatt"
We paid extra to have a Grand King room, which was nice but view was disappointing. We had another huge skyscraper to look at. The windows were not clean either- very dirty. The room itself was lovely. Bathroom extragavant and clean. Very quiet and easy to sleep in the room. Drinks were very expensive in the lounge area of the hotel. Staff were amazing. Very helpful and cheery- all of the staff are to be praised. Overall a nice overnight stay.

Melbourne is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Melbourne, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Melbourne hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
