We chose this hotel based on previous experiences with Country Inn and its proximity to the airport. Unfortunately we had an uneasy experience. While there in our room on the 3rd floor the staff found a package left in a room. When the staff determined it may be a bomb the police were called and all the STAFF was evacuated. Meanwhile no one in formed us of the situation. I became aware when I attempted to get something from my car. I walked into police tape, officers and a bomb dog. I was told I couldn't go back into the hotel. During this incident my husband was asleep in our room. I was told he could exit by walking to the end of the hall, going down 3 flights of stairs. He uses a walker and would not be able to do that So the staff and I sat for 1.5 hours waiting to be told if it was safe to go back in while I worried about my husband's well-being. I guess this is an uncommon occurrence but I expect that more concern had been given to the customers well-being. So much for customer service

Per Expedia emailed the hotel 48 hours prior to arrival and followed up again 24 hours prior requesting the courtesy van pick up. Provided the date, time, air carrier and flight number of our international flight. No response from the hotel. Upon arrival phoned the hotel questioning where was our ride. They were rude, and stated they never received the emails, Expedia failed to send the information. Then again after requesting a ride for the 3rd time they sent the driver to the incorrect location. A second phone call was required. Uncle at the hotel I found the front desk staff argumentative and extremely rude.
